All we need to do is continue to tank and draft one of the top PGs in this draft and we will have a very nice young core mixed with vets.

Anthony/Rose
Kennard/Snell
Doumbouya/Mykhailiuk
Griffin/Morris
Drummond/Wood

I would be super hyped to see a rotation like that next year.

Also, resign Drummond. He just continues to improve little by little each season and this season is no different.

18ppg 55 fg% 16rbp 2stls 1.7blks

He is a perfect young veteran center to rebuild with.

You're a very lucky Detroit sports fan TBH if you can be anywhere close to "super hyped" for that lineup.

Personally, I haven't watched a single game this season and I certainly can't stomach another season with Andre.

That lineup has a lot of high upside talent. How could you not be excited to see that? We are stuck with Griffin so we might as well let him help develop the young guys.

There are lots of flaws in your suggestion imo but the biggest is that we are playing Sekou at SF which would be a stretch even Andre and Blake were great perimeter guys.

Anyways, I will make a counter suggestion, what would you think of:

Anthony/Bone
Kennard/Brown
Svi/King
Sekou
Wood/Hall

Blake can help develop the young guys by holding their towels in his wheelchair and Andre is banned to enter the city of Detroit and surrounding suburbs.

Seems it's already blown up. What does blow it up mean? Dump a bunch of below average players?
For what? They already have Sekou, Kennard, brown, and Wood. Start there and move on.

If there's a bright side, I think it's at the point no one can deny this is a team that needs to at least retool, probably blow it up.

Explore the market for Griffin, Drummond, Rose, Morris, and Galloway. Get useless expirings or bad contracts plus picks.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

pretty much this...i'd like to keep rose n have him finish his contract he'd be a great vet to have for the young guys if we blow this team up.

Griffin is now a shining example of a bad contract. No one is going to give you anything in return and you'd have to attach multiple picks to him just to have a conversation. I think it would be better to shut him down for an extended period to see if there's any hope of a permanent fix for what is currently ailing him. His play is hurting the team and the cat is out of the bag that there's really something wrong that's affecting his play. I think we end up just riding his contract out :(

I don't see a trading partner for Drummond outside of maybe Atlanta? But I think they want someone tougher than he is...
Given how close he is to being a FA (his words) I don't see a club sending anything of value for him in return.

Galloway and Rose both potentially have value to other teams and should be traded away immediately. Ideally you packafe them together to possibly get a 1st back in return. Galloway's 3pt shooting is already starting to plateau...

Not sure what you can get back for Kieff tbh.

Totally agree about shutting Blake down. He is not right right now. Management and ownership are blind if they dont see this. Look at his shooting percentage. OMG

its annoying this idiot front office/coach won't except this season as a L shut Blake down n give sekou/jordan bone consistent burn we're losing either way.
