The drama with any draft is:

You never know how any player will react to the NBA life.

Yeah it's a big step up on the floor - bigger, stronger, highly skilled athletes...but it's the millions of other things as well.

Very few 18-23 year olds are equipped to handle it all.

As a organisation we don't have a great track record of having the "right" infrastructure around our kids from day dot.

Maybe Casey brought some of the Raptors stuff with him, maybe not? Seems they have a decent record with their kids, even predating Masai
