Oh boy, a political discussion.

I’m definitely not sticking my nose in this one. I’ll lock it if I have to.

As long as we are civil to each other, I am cool with it. I have many friends that are left wing extremists. We always keep it civil out of respect to our friendships.

I’m definitely on the left, though I would not consider myself an extremist, there are those on our right trying to argue that Biden is an extremist, so I have no idea how they’d label me.

I’m not really interested in engaging here. I doubt we have many undecided voters here, and if we do they unlikely to be swayed by anything I, am anonymous stranger on a non-political message board, have to say.

It’s technically in my power to lock it for being off topic, but I try not to overuse the mod abilities when it’s unnecessary to the health of the forum.

I don’t really step in all that much here.

20 posts in here that are all respectful suggests these guys are capable of discussing politics without a issue.

I think it's awesome you Mods have carried on the tradition of the old Mods - only step in if absolutely required!

Sorry for the late reply. If you want to check out brutal and very fast death metal with an epic symphonic element, check it out here. Got a show tonight in south Tampa. Anyways, we got another Keyboardist and Lead Guitarist again. So, back to 5 piece. Ready to slay audiences.

FYI. We will be touring Europe around February 2022 starting in Switzerland hitting a few countries. Fortunately, now that I work for Siemens, I enjoy lots of paid time off.

Nice! Maybe I'll be able to check out a show. I haven't been to Europe since 2018 due to budget cuts in 2019 then obviously COVID this year. I listened to a number of the songs and while I admit that it's not really my speed I do appreciate good music of most rock genres. I'm just more a fan of speed punk/thrash than speed metal.

So, we played the Tampa Bay Deathfest to a resounding success. It was our first real metal show. We played 2 dive bars in the 10 days before the show just to practice setting up and tearing down our set as it is quite elaborate compared to most bands. Anyways, show went over well and the audience went crazy. We spent thousands on props and displays to go with skits we will be doing soon. Out of the entire 2 day festival, the promoter said we were the best band. All other bands wore t'shirts n jeans whereas we were all decked out in evil armor ready to go to war with a few evil intros and a unique sound. We are friends with a guy who does custom leather armor who decked us out. People were buying our shirts and cd's while some were actually asking for our autograph. Pretty good for a first show in front of metal fans. So, I have a feeling this band may go somewhere. I probably have to drop out if they decide to try to make a living at it as whatever they make probably won't beat my salary with the 10% 401k match down the road, lol.
