He has the athletic ability and drive to be great, defensive skills are lacking, but can be worked on. IMO, no player in this draft has everything. Most don't excel at one thing. I'd take LaMelo's vision over almost every other player in this draft. I might like Toppin more, but with Griffin and possibly Wood returning and Sekou developing, I'd rather have a great PG, which I think LaMelo can turn into with the right guidance.

OKC has been one of the teams rumored to be interested in LaMelo. They’ve got the assets to make a big move up to try to get him. Judging from this move, maybe there’s fire behind the smoke?:
