On that same thought:

Anyone know what happened to Mola, Mo Quarter, Glenn?

Last season Drummond and Reggie were dumped. Blake came back crippled.

Praising someone for "pushing the youth movement" doesn't make any sense. There was only one option. Which Weaver immediately screwed up by adding a bunch of vets.

Wright and DRose - Where was Hayes supposed to play? Let alone Saben Lee.

Plumlee and Okafor - Stewart?

Blake and Grant - Sekou?

Grant, Svi, McGruder - Bey?

Seemingly every position was filled up with vets and the Pistons won games because guys the young guys played so well that Casey couldn't sit them anymore.

Its like praising Casey for "finding" Christian Wood! Great job Casey! You saw Christian Wood dunking on everyone for 5 months in practice, blocking shots, running the court, shooting the 3 and decided that John Henson was a better option.

It wasn't until the very end of the season that Wood finally found minutes and made Casey look like an idiot for not letting him play more minutes.

You are telling me Saben Lee hasnt looked like this in practice? Bey didnt look that good in practice? It was important to start Ellington and even McGruder for a game rather than give Josh Jackson / Bey / Svi for minutes?

We are bottom 3 in talent in the league and we should praise our captain for playing the young guys?

Thats called Stockholm syndrome.

I will say - 3/4 of Weaver's picks look great. Excellent picks. Best Pistons draft I can remember. I was very happy, along with everyone else the Pistons made a big commitment in the draft. Why didnt we start playing them more minutes beforehand? Why did Bey sit after breaking Pistons records for 3s made by a rookie?

Its a very odd strategy to "push the young guys" by not playing them, signing a bunch of vets and having those vets play in front of the obviously better rookies.

Great points other than they haven’t had many practices at all this year with the condensed sched so games are more crucial to “show”

Not playing the kids falls in the Coach more than the GM and it's well known why several coaches play vets over kids.

Weaver assembled the roster and the kids that are playing have earned their minutes!

This off-season I'd like to think Casey moves to a FO role and we get a more in tune coach.
