Think people are too quick to call anything tbh

I don’t think any of them are free agents, if he has a good second half we might get something for him this summer if we draft a pg, otherwise might as well give him another season

Frank Jackson is in the last year of his contract
Saben Lee is on a one year two way contract
Dennis Smith Jr becomes a free agent if we don't give him a qualifying offer of $7.7 million for 2021, which we won't

I think we will extend him the QO - 7.7 mil is a small price to pay on what is essentially a lottery ticket.
Unless we believe he'd sign here for more years starting at a cheaper price

In my opinion DSJ is a fringe NBA player. DAl / NYK and now us... how many years has this kid been in the league? Some injury concerns also? From a positive perspective he will help with the tank.
Personally much rather see Jackson and Lee get some burn.
