Starting to feel like worst case scenario, Bey is a solid starter like Tayshaun Prince. I don't really see him being a star but ceiling is likely a solid #2 option like a Harris. Getting a borderline all-star at where he was picked would still be an amazing get for us.

Bey is a really solid complimentary player. I don't think he's going to be an all-star level guy though. He's just not that that fluid putting the ball on the floor. I think he's always going to need guys creating for him and he'll be more of a finisher. If he can shoot 40% from distance, score enough on post ups and midrange to average in the upper teens, and play good defense on the host of athletic 3/4 scorers in the league, he's a great building block.

I remember someone posting here (as if it were some sort of a definitive statement) that trading back into the first round wasn't really worth it for Bey because we had to give a few future 2nd round picks. I always wondered how some people come up with this kind of stuff.

What a talent! Other than shutdown defense, Jokic can do almost everything on the basketball court.

Well, dem 2nds tho. I mean who wants a really solid 10 year starter now when you can have a chance at the 40th best 13 year old later.rmfc wrote:zeebneeb wrote:bstein14 wrote:Starting to feel like worst case scenario, Bey is a solid starter like Tayshaun Prince.
