10/3/.375

12/6/.364
14/6/.429
25/1/.667
17/5/.545
18/7/.400

Those represent averages of 17.3/4.0/.483 for that period. Given that his season averages are 11.3/4.1/.410 those numbers suggest neither a slump nor fatigue.

Well then that makes me happier, felt like he's been worse but I haven't been watching as much in detail lately

Consistency is the biggest thing good rookies struggle with in their first few years in the league. It's actually pretty impressive how well he's done in that area tbh. And even if he does fall off a cliff due to the long season that's a fairly common thing too -- under normal conditions where the games and travel are much more thoughtfully spaced out. So nothing but encouraging signs ftom him so far :)

Saddiq is having the best rookie campaign of any Piston in quiet some time.

To be clear, that says every bit as much about him as it does about our rookies over the years, but I'm still thrilled with him at 19 in a mediocre draft.

Yeah, even if he became a 14/6 third option guy with that occasional 25 pt game for the next 5-6 years he’d be a great value pick.

Oh it's not a big deal as it's very common for rooks and I have absolute faith he'll shoot his way out of it. Was just pointing out a slump and not hating or anything, love the kid.
