Our PG can't shoot. So then you need a SG, SF, C combo that are elite shooters. Bey is elite, so that's 1.
The team needs a #1 and even a better #2 on the team than Grant. Grant would be an excellent #2B. Maybe Bey grows his game (good guess he does). So there are the #2 A and B.
Where does the leader of the team come from? A Durant, Harden, Jokic, Luka, Giannis, Tatum, Lebron, Kawhi, Butler, Embiid, Chris Paul, Curry, etc.
Hayes, Bey, Grant, Stewart plus one of those guys, that team could be pretty good I think.
you obviously never know (harden drafted 3rd, jokic second round, luka 3rd, giannis 15th, kawhi 15th, curry 7th, etc.) which players will be true franchise guys but in this draft outside of the top 4 guys it's a crapshoot in terms of guys with all star+ potential. but scottie barnes has great vision and great defensive tools/instincts so at the very least he'll have a role as a defender and facilitator, even if his scoring or shooting never develop much.
for what it's worth i think his ideal role in the NBA is as a 4/5, but afaik he has very little experience at center so that would probably be a lengthier transition for him. i think he would really thrive offensively in a similar role to how we played plumlee this season.
