Sending a 2nd and $5 million cash may get you a first rounder from a team right at the end of the first round that has an owner who's been hit by Covid and wants the money. I'm not so sure our owner is wanting to hand out $$ like that though. If anything he's been on the receiving end up getting cash from other owners.

I think Grant should be the only asset in consideration for moving to get another first rounder this year. At some point the Pistons have to stand pat with what they've got and start improving as a team. Some people here love the idea of constantly making moves for what they think is higher value, but then that's at the expense of giving a core of guys a lot of time to play together and become greater than the sum of their parts.

We don't know what Weaver will do, what if is his plan is to keep 5 guys and get rid of the rest? I could see him gutting the team again, keeping those who deems worthy and moving the rest for picks/free agents. I don't think it will take much to get another pick, Pistons have 3 seconds and some attractive contracts to move.

Beef Stew is outplaying Bamba and has shown more. I'm not getting the allure of still wanting him at this point.

Wow.....no

Orlando doesn’t really seem to value mo, why are we handling over 3 2nds to get him? I mean one I could understand, although I think sekou for mo straight up is close to possible.

I’m fine with Sekou and ONE second, not super early, for Bamba.... but only if we make another deal to get value out of the remains of Plumlee’s contract. He’s outplayed his salary and should be a positive asset if we want to move him. There are contenders that should be interested (Golden State, Brooklyn, maybe others).

There’s no point in trading for a semi-project center if he isn’t going to play.

The real question is, if we win the #1 over all pick, would we be willing to trade down? My answer is yes and only with Orlando if they land a top 3 pick as well. I would trade the 1st for Orlando's 3 overall pick, their second top 10 pick, Wendell Carter and future 1st for our 1st and Plumlee. Then trade Josh Jackson and Oakfor for any 2nd pick you can get.

Hayes/ DSJ/ Lee
(Jalen Green,Draft)/Diallo
Grant/ Bey
Stewart/ Sekou
Carter/(kia Jones, Draft)/ Vet big

Or if green is gone

Hayes/ DSJ/ Lee
(Keon Johnson or Moody,Draft)/Diallo
Grant/ Bey
Stewart/ Sekou
(Mobley, Draft)/Carter/free agent Vet

Either way we would win.

That's a very talented roster and probably never going to happen. A man can dream tho.

I’d trade #1 overall for 2 top 10’s as long as 1 of the 2 picks was high enough to get Green.

I wouldn’t trade the first overall pick for say picks 6 & 9 or something like that.

Nah, don’t think so, and I love Jalen Green.

The player you’re going to get from 6-10 in this lottery is gonna have some warts. Projects or upside plays or whatever you want to call them.

Now would I trade Cade for two of Green, Suggs, Mobley, Kuminga? Yes I would.
