I love this. I think Casey is the best coach we have since a long long time, and now he is a Weaver's guy. After this painful season he deserves the extension.

He’s by no means amazing, but he is the best head coach we’ve had in some time. You’ve got to think part of the reason we’re rebuilding is the experience he had the season he got to coach Gores dream roster. The next season we went budget on free agents, then cut a good chunk of those players, traded Drummond, and then this season happened.

Let him stick around for a bit, build up the players ( or at least attempt to) and then reevaluate down the road.

He wouldn't have been a lame duck, he had 2 seasons remaining.
