Summer League Meetup

So I am a long time follower on this and a few other Pistons boards. Wondering if any realgm board members have plans to be in Vegas for Summer League. Would love to form a Pistons section at Thomas Mack Arena. I will be heading out Aug 8-12 and have Gen Admission tickets all five days. God help me if the Pistons are not on the schedule those days.

I'm planning on being there but most likely for just the weekend maybe Thursday as well. August 12th - 15th. I'll most likely wait to make sure Cade is our pick and playing, or that most of the 2nd year guys I want to see will be playing before I book tickets tho so it will be last minute for me.

I need to make a trip back out to Vegas soon but it won’t be this summer. Me a bunch of guys from the Off Topic board used to gather there every year for a few years (actually for the draft the first year), and that even stretched on to gatherings in other cities. That died out a handful of years ago though. Good times though; I’m a pretty social person and it’s kinda cool to go through the process of meeting people in person, especially way back before the days of everyone being on Facebook and no one knowing what anyone else looked like. In fact, it used to be the unwritten rule here that you never gave out any personal information. Which I always thought was strange but that’s just me. I viewed meeting people in an Internet forum no differently than striking up a conversation with the guy sitting next to you at the bar, so I didn’t have any issue meeting in real life. And boy oh boy did me and my Off Topic board brothers create some memories in Vegas. Good times.
