Seems there's this idea that we're either all in on Cade as the PG or we're all in on Hayes as the PG.

It's not a all or nothing situation. If anything you're better off having more playmakers on the floor at all times.

Cade and Hayes playing together and splitting time at PG and SG with Grant, Bey and Plumlee/Stew splitting time at the 5. And spare me the arguments about "Who's going to guard So-and-So or such-and-such type players?" Put that lineup on the floor and see what happens.

Hayes defends their better offensive G
Grant defends their better offensive F

Basically this

Hayes and Grant should be our POA defenders, depending on who we are playing against.
Cade's defensive strength, at least for now, lie in his team defense and his ability to use his iq to read and react. The majority of his best defensive displays have come as the help defender plus its not usually the best high idea to have a heavy usage player being the POA in the halfcourt.

The idea is Hayes-Cade-Bey-Grant-Stewart but I can see this team playing small ball a lot of minutes plugging in someone like Frank Jackson to bring more shooting:

This would be an amazingly dynamic offensive group.

Wowzers.
