Think it's us?
No, because the Pistons are not a small market team.

I would be willing to do a mid season trade of Joseph, Diablo, and J Grant for Simmons and a couple first round picks; at least two, if he holds out until then I think it goes up to 4.

Bey - Social Media has shown that the man is putting in the work. Summer League revealed some flashes of his off-season progress.
Stewart - I believe, will match the perceived ethic of any player on the roster, when he's ready. No sophomore slump.
Cade - Provides an interesting infusion of talent and maturity. Will his impact translate? Vegas thinks so.
Grant - Will be playing year 2/3 as the defacto vet leader coming off of a season where he "proved it". Will he take another step forward?
Olynyk - After 8 seasons, Kelly achieved career season bests in games started and minutes played. He responded by setting numerous personal-best seasonal statistics. While playing for two different teams.
Bench - Another year for a number of players with promise and a culture of competitiveness.

We begin this season with a lot of hope. The roster turnover is extraordinary. I believe this roster has the ability to finish as a play-in team, at least.

Not much interest in that deal, and I'd assume that Hayes is included in any potential Simmons deal because the Pistons would have a million ball handling guards in that case if they kept Hayes and added Simmons.

Maybe the small market team is Cleveland and Garland is in the deal? They're in more of a win now mode than the Pistons.

Return to Detroit Pistons
