Re: Media Day
Killian probably realizes his offensive game is lacking and his defense could potentially keep him on the floor.

No Olynyk or Frank Jackson yesterday. Not interviewed, anyway. Any word why?

That would make Cade just a whisker taller than the height of 9 layers of 8" cinder blocks--72 inches--plus 1/2" of mortar per layer for another 4-1/2". So Cade is really more like 6'4-1/2".
Man, the Pistons really got swindled by this kid.

They all had that. Like no ones sarcastic enough to be like “everyone but, say, Livers”. Then in parantheses (he knows why).

They pooled everything into their Instagram page and Twitter it seems. But still seems lazy they couldn't get some intern to AT LEAST update the front page from said social media accounts. Literally would take 10 minutes if they had some reps in the beginning

I want players that contemplate suicide every time they miss a free throw, then take out their pain and anguish against anyone who would oppose them. I want players that contemplate murder every time their so-called teammates dares to miss a free throw, then take out their righteous rage on them to scare them straight (or tell Weaver to trade them for four second round pics). I want the 7'2" version of John Wick. I want other teams facing my team to shrivel in the fetal position, evacuating all bodily fluids, begging for mercy (but receiving none -- he absolutely will not stop until they are a smear on the wall or boot). Friends? Friends are what other people have because they are weak. I want winners! I WANT WINNING!!!!!!
Oh, y'all were saying something about Media Day? Please proceed.

The similarities between the two are great, and having Big Ben work with him like this is amazing.MotownMadness wrote:?s=20
Every day is getting longer before October 6th I swear. October 5th is going to feel like 40 hours long.
So pumped for this season. I really hope it isn't filled with disappointment.

I'll be over here with my unreasonably low expectations which I've developed as a defensive mechanism after decades of disappointment as a Detroit sports fan. I'll save you a seat for later.zeebneeb wrote:So pumped for this season. I really hope it isn't filled with disappointment.

I actually ran into Cade at the grocery store earlier this week, really nice guy. Said he's excited to be here and took a picture with me, I towered over him by a few inches and I'm 6'0. The height thing was just a misunderstanding, he's actually 5'8 not 6'8. It was all just a typo, easy mistake to make.

Re: Media Day
Finally got a chance to watch the full Media Day and, as well all knew anyway, Cade just exudes leadership and confident leadership at that. To go along with his high level skillset, this is why scouts were so high on him because his floor is really high. He just seems to have the attitude of a guy who refuses to fail.
I also thought Josh Jackson had a good attitude. He seemed happier than last year.
Also, Killian seemed to really work on his hair game. It seems like Cade's leadership is already paying off with his team following him down the hair path.

I may have actually been in the store with you! I wish I'd known. I helped Cade reach a box of cereal on the top shelf that he was struggling to reach on his tippy toes. I grabbed it flat-footed and stooped over to hand it to him. He was so appreciative that he paid for my groceries. I'm 5'9, so that would probably put Cade at around 5'5.

Watched half of the full clip on YouTube but it's poorly put together and there's a lot of silent time in between interviews that's annoying...
