I'm still staying with a win total in the low 30's.

Two months later, we're down to 24.5.

Still under for me.

I think we're a 30 to 32 win team, BUT Weaver also has shown he is fine pushing the team towards a top pick if it is where the team needs to go down the stretch of the season.

Same here. Given no other factors I'd say this team should be capable of winning 26 games. But being on a pace for 26 or more wins but being eliminated from playoff contention and in a position to improve draft position by losing, I think we'd see a repeat of last year. Rest Cade and the starters, let guys like Livers, Garza and Pickett log plenty of minutes, and whatever happens happens.

obviously i hope over but if i was actually betting i'd bet under. i just think there's more than can go wrong than go right for us.

if cade or grant get injured for any period of time, if olynyk or stewart get injured we're all of a sudden extremely thin at center, etc.

I think we're going to be bad, but I don't think we'll be purposely tanking like last year. We were "resting" vets left and right and I don't see us doing that again.

Plus, Cade is obviously not thrilled about being held out for a minor injury. It's his team now, and I don't think he's going to be on board with healthy scratches for rest.

Usually the odds makers are pretty close, they are factoring in all the teams. While the Pistons have improved, so have many teams in the East that they had a good shot at, I also don't believe they will try super hard to win games, not outright tanking but still resting guys and not going all out to win every game, knowing this could pay off in the draft.

I think they can beat that as long as they don't lose complete confidence after being potentially smacked down the beginning of the year. I'd bet over - but not by much. Young ones should improve as the year goes by...

Yeah, the Vegas oddsmakers are crazy accurate in the grand scheme. Sure there are some crazy surprises here and there on a game by game basis, but when looking at something like total wins in a season as a result of considering 82 individual games they're pretty damn good.
