Who's talking about Jaylen Brown? I'm sorry I hurt your feelings by disagreeing Detroit will have "the pick of the litter" for Jerami Grant. I named a bunch of potentially attainable young players. Just not Williams and Bridges, that's fantasy. Kids. I've been nothing but respectful. Saying something you don't like hearing isn't "trolling".

"There is no guy on the market who is more impactful than Jerami Grant, and that includes Simmons."

Folks on your own board don't agree with you. Try peddling your crap elsewhere.

I guess it's one thing to have stupid takes on the General or Trade boards but you are coming into the Pistons board and making outrageous statements?

Patrick Williams, while a nice prospect, is injured and was putting up 6 pts (on 5 attempts) / 2 rebounds in 25 minutes this season.

To suggest Grant's value is less than Williams is laughable.

I can see where you are coming from with Bridges but if you look closely you will see he has fallen back to earth after his hot start and is due a huge pay day - one that MJ and the Hornets are not 100% sure they will give him.

Grant is locked up for this year and next and is a huge improvement over Hayward who can be moved to the bench or another team.

Look I get it, it must be frustrating to be sitting in 10th place in the East when you have two of the (supposedly) best young players in the game in Tatum/Brown but no need to poop on Jerami Grant of all people, lol.

With the way things are going, we may be seeing more of you since your team most likely be competing for a high lottery pick like our team will be.

Maybe you’ll figure out that when no buyers can afford the product, per your description of the “market” for Grant, then there is no market.

This isn’t a situation where “You’re not going to get equal value so you’d better take something less” applies; the Pistons clearly are open to trading Grant—which was established by Weaver as a possibility from Day 1—but don’t have an immediate need to.

To tell you the truth the only two rumors that I have even remotely liked our Chicago’s rumor with Patrick Williams and a first and some thing else also golden states rumor of Wiseman plus Mosely. But these are trades that I doubt the other team would do.

Defensive bunch! I'd jeer back if I didn't think you were all petty enough to ban me.

I don't think any of you even read my post. Of course they could keep Grant, but that means the market isn't there! "Value" isn't determined in a vacuum. You don't take one player's raw talent/potential and measure it against another's raw talent/accomplishments and swap 1:1. Teams have long-term goals, they have other players they can get for less or different players they can get at a high price, there are cap issues, there are on-court fit and off-court organization/personality issues.

I'll be SHOCKED if you get Bridges for Grant. Yeah, it could happen - CHA decides they don't want to pay him and that Grant upgrades them at a different position to make a deeper run. But it's incredibly unlikely and would be a mistake by the Hornets if they did it.

If I'm wrong you can all come back and quote this and tag me and gloat your asses off, but there's no way you'll get Bridges, Pat Williams or Wiseman. Williams has a *shred* of plausibility. Probably Grant gets dangled and you keep him, like you did last year.

So a guy comes on to another team's board and then argues why one of their players isn't worth as much as the posters there value him. He also insults posters there in the process. He then wonders why people there aren't bothering to pay much attention to what he writes.

I don't know what type of reaction you were expecting to receive but it's clearly not based in reality. Just think for a moment what what would happen if the roles were reversed and this happened on the Celtics board.

You'll figure it out.
