Or maybe we have no talent on the team and Kerr wouldn’t win coaching this team either. I am 100% no coach can win with this roster. It’s designed to tank. No centers.

No coach would make us a winning team. A good coach would have us running something that looked like an NBA offense - even if we sucked at it. And playing something like an NBA defense instead of switching everything all game long. Casey's plan on every bit of 2 man action up top is to automatically switch. That's his game plan. To switch guys like luka onto a pg every single time down the court. There are only a couple centers in the league that might get away with that consistently, and even with them, you don't actually WANT them chasing guards.

Not only that, then your young players never develop their skills of fighting through screens, showing hard while recovering, playing the spacing game, adjusting how you play based on the player...it's all very middle school defense and even with the switch on everything philosophy, Charlotte still had no trouble passing the ball a few times for open looks.

I don't think there's anything unique about Casey's offense, but I also see it on a lot of teams. Pick n roll at the top. Bey at the high post. Two guard at the corner three. Motion offense with screening at the top of the key.

Pistons just aren't that good in the details. While any coach would look bad on the Pistons, Casey likewise would look much better in Golden State.

We have 4 starters and two of them are injured. What do you expect?

No matter how you look at it, Robinson & Potter playing that many more minutes than Lee & Garza makes no sense.

Rob & Potter getting those minutes were pretty bad. I guess we really wanted to see what we got in the bargain bin from the G-league

Yeah I agree I was never a fan of Casey but we may have the least talented team in the NBA. lots of low end guys that would be bench warmer. We have 3 players in the starting lineup shooting under 40%.

I rewatched the game and man was the 2k shooting sliders all the up for the hornets they made any and every shot. I agree with another poster that said why Garza don't get many minutes yea hes bad defensively but you need his size and rebounding trey lyles may make a shot or layup here and there but I cant stand playing him at all especially at the starting 5.

I think Casey gave Robinson and Potter those minutes because their 10 day contracts are ending and it was the first game of a back to back. Might as well give them some minutes before they collect their $100K and go back to their G league teams. Potter was worth a look.

As I see the team playing to stay high in the lottery, many of these seemingly weird moves aren't a concern.
