Its aight, let’s just see how the Bagley experiment works out.

I definitely want to see him at the 4 for a good long sample size before trying him out at 5. I prefer him to be a 4 but we will see.
I’m torn on Bagley.
I want him to be our C on offense. Pick and roll for lobs, otherwise work in the paint. I don’t want him jacking up multiple 3’s per game.
But on D, can he be a good enough rim protector to warrant playing at C?
That is my concern. I don't know if he is going to be a good rim protector at the 5. I would want to try him at the 4. He has good form on his jumpshot. I think he can be a 4 that can play inside primarily but also hit 3s too.

If Bagley doesn't play with alongside KO or Stew he's absolutely going to play inside; he'll have to. If he plays with KO he plays inside; even though KO's 3FG percentage has dropped this season to 27.5% he's still more of an offensive facilitator/pick and pop/floor spacer at his best than a 5. If Bagley plays with Stew then Stew will likely be called a C and Bagley a PF, which is how it should be. While Stew has had some good games shooting jumpers here and there he's better inside playing cleanup on offensive rebounds or catching those quick passes in the paint and going right up with them, which he's definitely had some good games doing. In fact, when Stew goes straight up with the ball inside he's one of the most dependable finishers at the rim on the team. But even with Stew playing primarily inside that doesn't force Bagley to stay outside and jack up 3's, something he's never done in his career to this point thus there should be no fear that he'd be expected to do it now. The "NBA trend" doesn't mean you HAVE to run your offense that way if it makes no sense to given your roster and/or opponent. We just watched two games where traditional C's and stretch forwards scored 49 and 48 points inside and 6 and 15 outside, respectively.
You don't trade for a dead eye shooter and expect him to primarily drive to the hoop, you don't trade for a slasher and expect him to primarily shoot jumpers, and you don't trade for a PF/C who's made his living on dunking lobs and offensive rebounds and expect him to primarily stay outside shooting jumpers. Well, you can but it makes no sense whatsoever.

JFC, I'd rather see G leaguer Walton at our point than this human dumpster fire Casey trots out/forces on us.

100%. I thought Walton did pretty well at PG when he was up.

I actually want to see Cade at PG and Frank Jackson starting at SG. I'm curious how that would go. I am equally happy with Cade at PG or SG. I think it is probably good for him to be the guy bringing the ball up the court on most possessions though.
