But I'm curious how high of a pick in this years draft you'd consider trading for Zion? The same issue still exist; health, weight, passion. But the dude is still just 21 years old and was basically a 27-7-4 dude on great efficiency the last time he played. Do you risk it for the biscuit??

You could get really funky with it and work a 3-way with Portland that also sends their 11 pick back to NOK along with various fillers (Olynyk) and TPE's etc and our own pick.

If the trade ends up with him being glued to his nutritionist and rehab specialists and he keeps the weight off, the upside would be more massive than any free agent or trade that we could hopefully get without win/loss column IMO. He's that good, which I'm sure many forgot since he's been off radar for what seems like an eternity. But there's a lot of noise and caveats to this though

But at this point, I'd want to see what happens with our draft pick and how we handle free agency next season. It just doesn't seem likely at all that Zion would put us on his radar

With Reddish and Barrett there, and tradeable assets, the NYK seem logical for Zion.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
