Wow. A lot of embarrassing quotes in that thread. The portion debating if dragic was better then Reggie is just absurd.

Lin signed with the Nets for 3/36m. A decent contract for the Nets. Seems like Lin's main goal was to be a starting PG, so Detroit (and many other teams) never had a chance.

I like the deal though as it will hurt Charlotte.

Yeah, not too happy we weren't able to land Lin. He's one of the best shot blocking PGs in the league and hustles hard. Not to mention, he can run the PnR better than any backup PG will as evidenced by his Tyson Chandler PnR during Linsanity.

Otherwise, the Nets got a steal. 12 million is literally nothing in this new age cap era.

Lots of money being thrown around so far, but that Mozgov deal takes the cake for being the most ridiculous. What are the lakers thinking paying him 16m annually over 4 years? Good lord.

It can certainly be argued that Beal, DeRozan, and Batum aren't worth the max, but at least they're solid players. If that's what it took to retain those guys, I can't really fault the contracts too much.

I'm glad the Pacers signed Jefferson. Before we struggled against the Pacers and the Hornets, with Jefferson killing Drummond in the paint, but now that Jefferson is on the Pacers that gives us a shot at beating the Hornets at the very least even though the Pacers will own our souls for the next couple years.
