Yeah until he starts pumpfaking when someone gets within 10 feet of him. Y'all are sounding desperate.

Kennard is a reluctant shooter. Bad knees. Horrible defense.

Not a fan of re-signing Paul Reed. We should have signed him last and not for so much.

If we have cap space we don't get a BAE we only get a room exception.

So it doesn't mess up other moves.

But we ARE signing him last. It was just announced first. People don't get that none of these signings can be official for days after this point. We can do the signings agreed to between now and then in whichever order we please.

This isn't TL's first rodeo. He's not going to make obvious cap maneuver mistakes that Realgm forum users can immediately spot.

I was hoping we'd do our major signings and then sign Paul for less.

It's quite possible that Bball Paul is their biggest signing. This is a worse team, on paper, than last year, I can't emphasize enough how important Beasley and Schroder were to the Pistons success last season so there has to be hope for continued internal growth or else this team is likely taking a step back next season.

None of these signings are official, there will be an order to them to manipulate the cap. But I need to hear them announce a decent signing. Schroeder, I’m not really sure that’s a loss but we need to add players

The Kings really have no idea what they’re doing

they'll use the bi-annual exception on him so his transaction will have to be submitted to the league office last. you can only use that exception if you're over the salary cap so his signing really doesn't affect any other moves we'll do as long as those moves get us over the salary cap.

i think because it is pretty cut and dry they didn't have a problem announcing it this early, whereas other stuff is still up in the air.

Bball Paul at $5.5 million seems like a lot when you got Kevin Looney signing for $8 and Clint Capela signing for $7 million. Actual guys who have been long term starters on good teams.... D'Angelo Russel signing for $6.5 million.

Yeah I knew that. Was going to get to that, just wanted to point out the faulty line of thinking.

I don't like it at all. A very poor replacement. The definition of settling.

It's better than letting the Beasley loss go unaddressed, but it's not good.

Eh don't love it but only 2 years. Roster building was the likely path. I guess that's a wrap.

Levert sucks. This team is considerably worse than it was 10 minutes ago.
