Kemba and Mitchell Robinson for Olynyk please. We can buyout Kemba, so Weaver continue his fetich with dead cap and we get out of 1 year of Olynyk.

We've been linked to Robinson. The Knicks are still a terrible organization, so please, get Olynyk out of Detroit.

If you can get Herro then I'm real happy. That's a great backcourt with size, playmaking, and versatility to grow with.

Tell me more

Olynyk and McGrub know Miami well. I'd gladly do Duncan Robinson and that late 1st for Olynyk and McGruder

The other hard part about a Bey/Robinson forward combo is the fact that we'll be awful on defense. Omer Yurtseven is for sure a piece that would be exciting to get back in the trade but it almost feels like if we take on Robinson and his big 4 year contract we'll be forced to move Bey to the bench because we'll be so bad defensively.

IDK, I kinda just want to get rid of Grant for any 1st rounder
I'd rather have the LAL deal if that's the case.

What year was their pick? I guess you get THT but he's kinda just a guy.

I don't see any real links to Miami. But if we're just fantasizing about trades, Olynyk going out is a great place to start.

A 2027 unprotected first most likely.

I would gladly take on Robinsons contract for getting Yurtseven and the pick. Robinsons contract isn't going to be that difficult to move if need be later on. The Pistons are really under the cap as well, so the money isn't an issue either. Makes less then Grant (5 million less)and isn't due a huge new extension.

Man I hope this is the reason the Heat made this deal today. C'mon Weaver...

Cant Robinson play the 2? Just move Cade to PG but I'm not sure how good of a playmaker Robinson is too take some weight off Cade there.

Wojnarowski pointed to the Portland Trail Blazers as having interest in acquiring Grant, although they may not have enough assets.

Herro?

I can never see that name without being reminded of working with Japanese guys and them saying and even writing "Hello" as "Herro"

Miami has been after Grant for awhile now. Found some articles from last May, and before he signed in Detroit.

Man my hopes are up now. Not a good thing.

It would be a miracle if they gave us Herro. No?
I very much prefer getting an actual young impact player to go with Cade over getting draft picks....but Herro I think Miami would be nuts to gift him to us for Grant who we all know his weaknesses

Robinson's a movement shooter, not sure we'd provide the ball or player movement and screening activity for him to succeed. Although, maybe having him can help us develop this aspect. I think Cade would have no trouble finding him when open.

No way Herro's in the conversation. His 20ppg bench punch is something Grant can't replace.

A haiku to Troy Weaver

Trade Jeremy Grant

For PAW, Herro, or assets

It’s time to move on
