If we lose out nothing anybody does matters. There's too much worry going on about other teams.

You seem to have forgotten that this team is NOT embracing the tank, Casey is trying to win every game, and like always the Pistons will make a late season push.

NYPiston wrote:We should be rooting for Orlando tonight. It gives them 2 wins of separation and it's likely their last chance at a win. As Snakebites said, it's important to stay in the top 4 because the top 4 lottery odds are pretty much flat 1-4.
On paper, this looks like a fairly difficult schedule but as I've been thinking for weeks, the Denver and Miami games are big concerns. With Denver's loss last night and Miami's win today, it's looking even less likely that those games will mean anything to them so I expect them to play skeleton crews. I think those are likely wins for the Pistons now.
if we play the lineup we playing in todays game, we should be safe against anyone, even the benches of the Nuggets and the Heat but you never know

Probably in the last 10 games, so games 73-82.
You watch--I'd almost be willing to bet that one of the whiners is going to claim they forgot it wasn't an 82-game season.

Even if they do the way Ant Man has been playing lately we should still lose.

You guys are manic.
I saw you in the ORL game cheering for the loss. Then you turn right around when the team wins and explain its all part of the process of some BS.
Now you are patting yourself on the back, AGAIN, when the team actually tanks.
Get your story straight. Should Casey have tanked against Memphis or not.
This team could EASILY be #2 in draft order. Jesus its like you forget what you write just days before so you can congratulate yourself on some BS you make up the next day.

What "part of the process" BS are you talking about? Every Pistons player other than Stew shot 50% or better against Memphis, and Stew was only one miss from 50%. Memphis was on the second game of a back to back and played like they didn't give a crap. That's why the Pistons won. There was no "need to stick to the process" explicitly stated or alluded to.
Again, if you want to keep making the claim that neither the team nor Casey is committed to tanking while the team continues to lose games, have at it. I have no problem with continuing to make fun of that notion every time the Pistons lose.
"This team could EASILY be #2 in draft order"...let me clue you in on a little secret here, chief--THEY ARE #2 IN DRAFT ORDER.

Literally the above is my only post, VERBATIM, in the Memphis game thread. I'll make you a deal, if you agree to stfu now I won't make you look even worse than you've repeatedly made yourself look everytime you log on here.

Three games to go, all alone in the second slot. I think Dwayne's bought in and will complete the tank. He sounded comfortable with development and short term losing in the post game conference, not frustrated at all.

I still think most likely we go 1-2, but second most likely is 0-3.
Also couldn't even imagine how much this board would implode if we went 3-0 it would go down as the worst week in franchise history for many of you.

I think we go 1-2 and still drop to the 7th pick.

0-3 seems perfectly doable with what's ahead of us, but that Denver game worries me. I feel like we need to nail the Nugget alums to bench for that.

Thought it was clear in training camp when he repeatedly stated we'd "compete to win" as opposed to "attempt to win"
