Awesome pick! Chaz brings is athletic, he can post, he can spot up or create. He has a solid overall game and he's a good kid. Grab the #20 uni bro!!!

Absolutely love the pick. About as sure of a thing as you could expect at 37.

Good job TL! He didn’t get desperate and trade up. Good to keep those assets for when we really need to make a move.

He's his cousin, right?

I read a story weeks ago and already forgot. My guess is great-nephew.

There’s been some mistaken info on this.

I don’t think any family connection has been confirmed.

Really like the pick. Kalkbrenner/Raynaud/Lanier so I'm a happy camper getting one of them.

Yeah, he's obviously not his cousin. I thought we were joking.

I watched that vid twice. I think I saw him finish at the rim with his left hand one time, and it was a dunk. That's a negative for me. I also notice that half of the threes he took in that reel were NBA and beyond three-pointers. Dude shot 40% for his college career. He's got an awkward shot, but it's a quick release, seems to have good spatial awareness, and the ball goes into the hoop. I see his size and shooting ability as an improvement over Sasser. He might not be a Beasley level NBA shooter just yet, but he sizes in a similar mold, with a lot of the same potential (seemingly).
I've been a proponent of Schroder>Beasley, and this choice is another hint that this might be the direction the team goes. And if so, Sasser is trade bait.

I just can't see us leaving a significant portion of the shooting burden to a freshly-drafted pick #37; especially when all signs point to Beasley being able to be had for the MLE. Shooting/spacing is just too important not to go with a known quantity.

I hope we bring back Schroder but there's definitely a world where Ivey gets a share of PG responsibilities in the 2nd unit. In that world will Schroder be happy with the scraps that are left?
