Re: Around the League
Adding Budinger is not a problem. Suns lack depth and if Chase has a rebound season, then they can consider keeping him next season. Win Win situation.

Curry for 300th 3.

First ever to reach 300 in a reg season. The Warriors are singlehandedly breaking the NBA.

Okafor shut down for the season by Philly due to 'sore right knee'. Can a team get in trouble for intentionally losing games?

Towns has it on lock, and has for a while now.

Has anyone looked at Bookers stats the past few weeks. Dude has been a chucking 30% shooter on a horrible team. No way he wins ****.

Re: Around the League
How would you say Booker compares to SJ? Our boy doesn't have the green light Booker does and is bigger and can play defense, but this whole time I thought we would regret passing up on Winslow, but its actually Booker and Myles Turner that may be the ones we missed out on.

Re: Around the League
Booker has a bright future in this league, and Turner likely does, too, but at this point I still like Stanley's chances to be the best player of the three. He has a wide assortment of "good"-level skills, and if only a couple become "great", he'll be an All-Star down the road.
I'd definitely take all three of them over Winslow. He already has a "great" skill in his defense, but he's lacking the "good" stuff in a lot of areas... 70% from the line, terrible shooting unless he's completely set, not a good passer, doesn't have an offensive role except transition finisher. He's getting a ton of minutes for a rookie because of that defense, but he produces next to nothing on the offensive end. He'll get better, of course, and still be a good role player, but I simply don't see the ceiling of the other three guys.

Re: Around the League
After weeks of poor play, Booker lit it up last night for 35pts. I think he reads RealGM.

I don't think we had any of them other players as the next up if player x wasn't available. We know Booker was who we wanted if Stan wasn't there. Not sure the others are like that

Devin Booker could just as easily be the next Michael Carter Williams who was rookie of the year once. Just about anybody can look good on a a horribly bad team if given the green light to chuck the ball like there is no tomorrow.

Re: Around the League
Zero chance that he follows MCW's path. MCW was inefficient with bad shooting and super turnover prone as a rookie, and that hasn't changed. He had won RoY because of raw numbers plain and simple. Booker's shooting numbers are solid and the great performances he's having are not mere luck/being on a hot streak. He is legitimately an elite shooter and his ability to create off the dribble is far ahead of what anyone expected right now.

Re: Around the League
steve nash was great shooter and ball handler. if he thought about being a scorer, would he be stephen curry?
stephen curry is amazing finisher in the paint, he is at tony parker level. I don't remember nash tough.

Let's not do this!
Different eras and different rules...
Also remember that if these Warriors are playing those Bulls Steve Kerr is not coaching - he's playing!
We can assume Walton is coach, but I believe he was hired by Kerr - not if he's still playing in Chicago...
Or are you suggesting time travel? In which case Kerr passes out after seeing himself as a younger man and neither team has him!
On D for Chicago:
Rodman v Green
Toni v Barnes
Harper v Iggy
Jordan v Klay
Pippen v Curry
On D for GSW:
Green v Rodman
Barnes v Toni
Iggy v Pippen
Klay v Jordan
Curry v Harper
Interesting to ponder...but I don't see Jordan losing
