Re: Around the League
Bruce Brown to Pacers ?
Crazy how “big” of a name he’s become. We all liked him - but never thought his 3% would be good enough.
He’s well rounded now. Perfect type of player to have on your team.

Yes, Pacers going to be looking good with Brown on board props to them if the deal is done. I haven't seen Shams or Woj report on it yet.

That's a lot of money for Bruce Brown holy ****. But at least he is a good player and a good fit there.

That's a lot for Bruce. But he's versatile, solid on both sides of the ball, and is a great gritty glue guy. Happy to see him get paid.
But, I'm not thrilled he's going to be a Pacer. I'm not a fan of the team that is based in the city I live in.

Re: Around the League
Yeah, now it makes sense. If Grant can get 32 million it’s doubtful any offer was going to scare the Nets away from Cam.

Halliburton and Brown in the backcourt, in our division. What could have been.

What do you think about Portland signing Grant to a $160 million/5 contract?

Too many years and Portland is not going anywhere, so it's bad, but it's better than what Detroit has been doing.

Re: Around the League
I would have paid Grant 4 years $120 million... .that expensive 5th year makes the deal seem a lot worse and at his age he'll likely be in decline at that point but this has a chance of being a decent deal for Portland. Still not sure they will have done enough for Dame.

Yeah, Detroit just postponed chasing free agents until next summer. We at least have Scoot/Sharpe to enjoy
Any word on how Ausar is doing in the practices prior to summer league? I'm really looking forward to seeing
the July 9 summer league game with SAS. Portland will have Scoot/Sharpe vs Wemby

Darn Jevin went for 3/20 to the bulls. That's a great deal. Best deal of free agency thus far.

He was certainly a guy worth considering with the room exception at 2/$15. Not a bad deal for a rotation player for the Bulls.

Re: Around the League
So Draymond with 4 for $100mil with a player option. Basically the same as last time
Again, he was always going to stay with the Warriors. That dude loves Steph and they got rid of Poole. Not to mention the 4 rings

Re: Around the League
Seems like all the free agents we were interested in re-signed with their own teams immediately. Not surprised Weaver punted if he heard that's how it was going to be.
