You guys do know that you have the ability to ignore users and make their posts invisible to you, don't you? Its the one power that you guys have that moderators don't get access to.
Sorry, we're not going to ban someone just because they have a negative outlook that other posters don't like reading.
Just checking.

I would trade Cousins for the boatload of picks from BOS. Plus any player of the Kings choosing.
Knowing the Kings tho, they would whiff on every pick.

He's the same player we drafted and I think he's going to be the same all his career.

Unless the other poster is a certain mod on the general or player comparison board. I guess It could be worse. You guys could make him a mod so we couldn't ignore him.

If the Milwaukee Bucks win one more game to get to 33 on the year, it will be the winningest season Greg Monroe has had in his career. Cheers to him if they can pull it off.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Yes that is worse. Much, much worse. Part of the reason I'm over here a lot more now.

Re: Around the League
Hinkie is free now. Want to sign him and trade away all our assets and be in the cellar for the next 5+ years? I know at least one poster on these boards who would be thrilled.

feeling so good right now. I lost my GB privlagies because of a debate with a Philly mod how Philly's plan is horrid. He couldn't take the truth, neither could Hinkie.

No offense mate but Hinkie is/was right - the only possible way for Philly to compete for a championship or 2 is/was to land an absolute beast or 3 in the Draft
OKC, SAS & GSW are the proof of that - yes the organisation needs to get a lot of other things right to develop the players but you gotta start somewhere and the Draft is where the on the floor stuff begins.
Where Hinkie failed is not drafting well, not surrounding the youth with quality vets and in not pursuing any reasonable asset - he was all about the Draft and that's it.

Re: Around the League
I'm not even sure Hinkie failed... he quit because the Colangelos, with the blessing of Philly's owners, were about to neuter him in terms of actual decision-making power.
I don't think Hinkie is some misunderstood genius or anything, but he went full bore into tank mode to try and get assets. He did get assets, so that was a success. Some of his draft choices were questionable, certainly -- they'll greatly regret Okafor over Porzingis, I think -- but he did what he said he'd do.
