Yeah, maybe an Exhibit 10 contract. But who knows? For all I know, maybe Weaver is stretching Smith for a roster spot for this guy.

So we didn't get Wood, tossed Bone and ended up with Hands and a Lamb?

A very interesting article on Anthony Lamb. The kid has overcome a great deal of adversity, including mental health challenges. I don’t know what kind of NBA future he has (with the Pistons or otherwise), but I hope he succeeds:

Here's a focus on Anthony Lamb in a game against Virginia last season:

Adding Lamb allows us to trade Hands/King/Lee for a guy we could stretch/waive

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary NBA contract with a specific Exhibit 10 attachment built into it and no other bonuses. These attachments are not present in every NBA contract, only in deals in which both parties have agreed to include it.

Here are a few more notes relating to Exhibit 10 contracts:

A team can’t carry more than six Exhibit 10 contracts at a time.
An Exhibit 10 contract can only be converted to a two-way deal before the regular season begins.
An Exhibit 10 contract that gets converted to a two-way deal can later be converted into a standard NBA contract.
An Exhibit 10 bonus earned by a player who ends up in the G League or on a two-way contract isn’t counted toward the NBA team’s total salary.
Defence Wins Championships,we need to return to the Bad Boy era.

Still waiting for the draft day Ariza (to Detroit) deal to go through and Dedmon hasn't been Weavered yet.

Anybody else get the feeling that we are still discussing including Westbrook for Rose/Griffin in this deal?

He wouldn't be a terrible minimum contract signing, but the insertion of "bird rights" in that post scares the hell out of me.

Why we'd stretch Smith instead of Dedmon and/or McGruder is puzzling.

Let all these talking heads make jokes about us - the whole "too many centers" joke lasted less than 24 hours!

Weaver obvuously runs a tight ship as no one has come out and explained the "endgame"

Love how all you chicken littles wanted this team to get blown up for years...and Weaver actually does it, and now the sky is falling.

Zoom out here, folks. We actually have a youth movement now...we have a great shot to rebuild this team the right way: THRU THE DRAFT. THIS REQUIRES PATIENCE.

Blake and Rose are still gonna be dealt, don't you worry. Let Weaver do his thing longer than 2 weeks before we write him off.

I don't see us dealing Blake, not yet anyway

Rose? Who knows? I thought he'd be gone on Draft Day, thought we'd go after Giles, thought we'd keep Wood, never thought we'd trade Brown or Patton...

Weaver set the dumpster on fire!

Right now we could have all these kids on the roster this season:

Hayes
Wright
Smith
Jackson
Musa
Bey
Sekou
Stewart
Okafor

Maybe none of them pan out, maybe only 3 do, maybe 5 do

Hopefully next season is all about the kids and we land a top 5 pick in 2021
