Re: Around the League
Josh Hart is one of the best 6th/7th men in the league. This deal is solid.

Re: Around the League
Wouldn't it make sense for ;
Lillard to Philly
Harden Tucker to Clippers
Batum Covington Morris
With picks going to Portland from both teams.
I'd luv to seeLillard with Embiid to be honest

Re: Around the League
Apparently Joel removed all references ti Philly on his social media so the **** show in Philly continues.
Might be time for them to tank given the situation and the fact they have been in real contention with Joel for years

It makes sense, but I feel like it’s about to hit the fan in Philadelphia.

Re: Around the League
Philly is a trainwreck for sure. Not surprised Embiid wants to jump off that sinking ship. They wouldn't commit money to anyone on extensions and now they have an unhappy Tobias Harris, unhappy Harden, and maybe unhappy Maxey (hard to say on him he still might be happy if he gets the max next summer).

Re: Around the League
This Harden thing is insane. He's gotta realize how toxic of an asset he's making himself, right? I really hope the Sixers stick to their guns and force him to camp but it kinda feels like the league might take some sort of action. He's made is so no other team will want anything to do with him. The Sixers only 2 options are to "force" him to camp or take whatever deal the Clippers muster.
This crap is getting outa control.

Re: Around the League
I don’t know if Morey lied to Harden or not, but he’s smart in not doing a long extension to an aging vet who hasn’t produced in the playoffs. Harden is worth maybe 3/30 not 4/45. Take it or leave it. And he had his chance to be a free agent but opted in. So live up to that and stop whining.

Re: Around the League
Meh harden said he was lied too obviously it was some type of promise made that wasn't kept by Morey. This is not all on hardenCowology wrote:This Harden thing is insane. Is anyone going to sign Christian Wood? Or Hamidou Diallo (who I think would fit in great in Phoenix)

The only thing I can think of is that a guy might be waiting for a team to make a trade to free up money?

It’s hard for a player like that to realize they’ve reached a point where they’re no longer the desired asset they once were.
As absurd as all this behavior is, and as badly as trading for him as turned out for both of the last 2 teams that have done so, I think prime Harden could still get away with it.
This current version? No way. He’s still on the Sixers because the Clippers aren’t interested enough and the Rockets realized he’s exactly the wrong guy to have around their young core.

I see it slightly different. Obviously there’s a lot of blame to go around but isn’t it Morey that’s delusional about Hardens value at this point?
The 76ers should be glad to get solid role players to put around Embiid, Tobias & Maxey.
Harden isn’t worth more than that.
If the clippers will give solid expiring role players, that’s all an opt’d in expiring Harden is worth. No picks, no prospects.

We can’t know this without knowing what the Clippers we’re offering.

There’s only so many ways to match Hardens $35M salary with Clipper contracts and none of them appear negative.
We don’t know for sure but considering Moreys troll comments about wanting Evan Mobley for Tobias, I’m guessing he’s in the wrong value-wise.
