Denver in: Kendrick Perkins, Jonas JJ
Why for Detroit:
Detroit adds a young promising PG that can develop under SVG, PJIII at the very least becomes a stretch 4 tweener with a ton of upside, Chandler automatically becomes our starting SF, and SVG tries to finally get something out of Mcgee who is expiring in 2016. We address multiple needs with veteran talent and young committed prospects. We lose some cap flexibility, but realistically we aren't going to sign any core pieces in FA.
Why for OKC:
The idea is that moose would waive his birds rights to be on a contender. OKC gets a low post scoring center that they may convince to stay, Butler is the real MVP to durant and Augustine brings enough as a back up PG to help them make the playoffs. OKC adds to its core while remaining competitive.
Why for Denver:
They get Perkins and JJ's expiring for Mcgee and Chandlers contracts. I don't know if that's enough incentive
