Man Houston is a bunch flopping whiners. Love watching them lose, and Blake man. Wow. That guy is like a point forward.

Re: Around the League
Blake Griffin has improved tremendously in the last couple of years. He doesn't try to jump over and through people as often, and he's down low a little less so his rebounding numbers have declined (also, DAJ takes most of them), but man... some guys actually improve while in the league, eh, Monroe? Blake is now a great passer and a good mid-range shooter, too.
Legit future MVP candidate, something I never thought I'd say about him.

Re: Around the League
What's crazy is, Blake Griffin is only 26 years old. He still has plenty of room to expand his game even more.
I love the fact that he took the challenge when everyone said he has no jumper or that he's just a dunker. He's proven he's sooooo much more this playoff series. He's a natural passer, great faceup big, respectable jumpshot, and a decent post player. He's really elite.
I never liked him all that much but he's really growing into me.

Now that the Spurs have been knocked out, I'm pulling for the Grizz.I hope the WCF is Grizz/LAC with Grizz winning to face the Wizards in the Finals

I'd love it if the Griz can get past the warriors too.I'm hoping for a Griz V bulls final.
I know it's anti-detroit to root for chicago, but I like their team. I've watched them a lot in the last few seasons.

Bulls... gross. I'd rather have Cleveland win, and I don't even like Cleveland.

Go Bulls, then lose to the Wiz or Hawks.

My cousin is a big bulls fan, so i've watched them a lot of them. They have a very likeable team, it's just a shame they're in Chicago.
I can't stand cleveland and lebron, so I have zero interest in them moving on.
I guess Washington or Atlanta would be good too.

Re: Around the League
if any team other than the warriors, bulls, or cavs make the finals, the nba better brace for some terrible ratings. clippers might be a draw but im not sure they'll be enough to help a ton.

I live in Chicago. And 99.9% of my friends are bulls fans. I've watched a lot of the games too. I just can't stand Noah, Dunleavy, and Taj Gibson. Although, I wouldn't mind Taj on our team. Oh, and don't even get me started on their commentators

Their announcers have GOT to be top 2 worst. And ours have to be top 2 best. Big difference makes how bad they are more noticeable.

Agreed. Also Boston's and Houston's are really awful as well. Clyde Drexler is literally incomprehensible.
My personal favorite outside of ours are the Knicks; Frazier and Breen have got to be the best overall in the biz.

i couldn't deal with them if I lived there, that's for sure.
I live in toronto and I can't stand them now.
I still think the Knicks have the worst commentators in the league.

Harden is a manufactured all star if I've ever seen one. He flops worse then Paul, and I didn't think that was even possible. Good grief.

Re: Around the League
I got so disgusted I shut the Rocket's game off last night. Couldn't watch it after they let the egregious goaltending by Howard go. That was ridiculous.
We need a little of the Bull's mojo. Seriously, do either Gasol or Noah ever set a screen without moving? They rarely get called for it however.

Need mental toughness more than anything.
The most overlooked aspect of the going to work Pistons was the chips on their shoulders AND their absolute NEED to prove a point...that point was they were better than they had been treated, they deserved respect and they were going to demand it with their play!
THAT is what we've lacked the last 5-7 years...but I think Reggie Jackson has it, I'm hoping KCP & Drummond are getting it...add free agents and a rookie that have that and we're on our way.
Some people tend to think it's incredibly difficult to make a significant change, it's not! Once a group decides to buy in, all the way in, there is nothing they can't do.
The will, the desire, the NEED to prove it...that's what it takes. Talent? Every player in the league has talent. Skill? Every player has skill that their team can use. It's all about sacrifice, desire, determination!

Re: Around the League
These small jump shooting teams are struggling. I think both GSW and ATL go down this round, they aren't built for the playoffs. Points in paint> jumpshooting
