Griffin is better than Love, why in the world would you make that deal?

easy love has a p.o. after this next season while Griffin is locked in for years.

I'd definitely trade Griffin for Love.

Love was actually plan B if we couldn't land Griffin.

I doubt that's the direction they're entertaining.

LOL at Lance Stephenson joining Lebron in LA. Maybe Lance can blow in Bron's ear every day in practice now.

Lakers are burning through their cap space. They better get Kawhi, because they aren't putting much around Lebron

They are getting these 1 year deals to go after a Star next year while trying to work the Spurs now.

Stephen A Smith just said Pop is wanting back some crazy package like Ingram, Kuzma and 3 1st rounders. If that’s the case who knows how long this Kawhi situation could drag out

Lance is there to get Draymond kicked out of games.

Also James, Kawhi, Stephenson, KCP and potentially Nerlens Noel has the makings of a sick defensive squad as well. You are not going to out-gun the Warriors, but| you could try to Bad Boy them.

*Probably keep Julius Randle as well. Guy could be an enforcer 6th man type.

Ingram, Hart and Deng for Kawhi. Keeps Kuzma, Randle, Ball along with James, Stephenson, KCP, Kawhi, Noel...

Yeah, I get why they are doing the 1 year contracts. But why the urgency to allocate the cap space for these lesser type players who aren't ideal fits with Lebron?

Lebron will turn 34 next season, at some point father time is going to catch up with him. Can LAL afford to waste a year?

That team would be in dire straits as far as shooting/spacing goes.

They must be dead set on Kawhi. He wants to be there and they can now go into negotiations showing the Spurs take it or let him walk to us next summer.

Kawhi letting everyone know he’s still dead set on LA and them just landing LeBron to add to the enticement for him has just all but guaranteed them a Kawhi/LeBron era

Somebody has to try zagging. Besides Lebron is there so the hard-nosed possibly dirty defense will not be cracked down on. The NBA would love the rivalry. Showtime Lakers go Detroit Bad Boys to beat Golden State Dynasty.

I hear ya, but outside of Bron/Kawhi that team would also be SUPER green in terms of being battle tested.

Ingram, Hart and a couple FRP's along with Deng is a good haul for Spurs for Kawhi IMO if he's walking for nothing in a years time. Ingram is a young buck stud that Pop should love to wrap his hands around. Rudy Gay went back for a reason as well - he knows what's up. Leonard will be traded to the Lakers, all this is just entertainment.

Actually one year vets minimum means probably getting Noel as well still.

The East is wide open now and yall thinking about a "player option" after next season. Man, we need to think about winning and keep a core together in the future. We already have two great bigs with Dre and Griffin, why give that up.

We just need to figure out Reggie's situation and our 2/3 spots.

That's a simple difference between us.

You believe in this core and I don't. I don't believe Drummond and Griffin is a recipe for winning. I think Griffin was always overrated and is declining, and I don't think he fits well with Drummond. His contract is the definition of an albatross. I think the best move is to rebuild. I've been very consistent on that point in everything I've said on these forums since the trade happened.

So why wouldn't I be happy for the opportunity to get away from Blake Griffin? And if you like the trade, how did you feel about the SVG firing? Because the Griffin trade was the absolute last straw for me in that regard.

love fit with drummond alot better than griffin it gives drummond room to do what he needs to in the paint and would provide better 3pt shooting.
