This guy is going to Shawn Marion 2.0. He’s going to fit like a glove at the 3.

Cade
Ivey
Ausar
Cam or Grant (I hope)
Duren

That’s our future and it’s bright

Probably starts off behind Bojan assuming Bojan is here to start the season.

Best SF on the board, especially seeing Cam's fall. Wasn't going to further logjam PF, not to mention Pistons really like Stewart and all accounts looking to extend him.

I'm a dance with the girl you brought kind of dude, and Ivey, Cade is the back court until proven otherwise. Duren isn't being replaced in this draft by anybody other than VW.

It was always going to be a wing/SF.

I think Bojan starts this year but I think Ausar supplants him next year

Okay. From here on in, I'm gonna try and remain positive. Asser does have some great upside, and things he does well.

Excellent defender
Really nice court vision
Excellent athlete
True lob threat at the 3

I'll also hold onto the fact that he did shoot well in that leagues playoffs.

He was my absolute worst case scenario pick, so it just flat-out shocked me he was actually the pick, but, he is a Pistons now, so I'll hope for the best.

Yep. I didn’t want Ivey either last year but once they’re a Piston, they’re a Piston.

Weaver may have been taking calls on the #5 pick and not have time to make a call... plus it was just a big moment as his brother had just been drafted.

Stanley Johnson is a jump shot away from being a super star

I mean this dude lost credibility when he had Hayes at #1, he had Ausar ahead of Amen. I tend to agree: https://nbadraft.theringer.com/

Yup -- matching up against next-gen top NBA players like Anthony Edwards is concerning. Errr not really.

The kid has a motor, moves his feel, good hands and is a stud athlete. Everything you want in an NBA wing, I can see why people see some Andre Iggy in his game.

Athletes like that don't come around often.

I've been against the Thompson twins as top 10 picks all year until recently... and have had Ausar ahead of Amen the whole time. He ended up being my second choice at 5 behind Taylor Hendricks for this roster. I'm on board with the pick.

Ausar’s standing reach is half an inch less than Jarace’s which is pretty amazing. He’s plenty big to play the 3 and eventually the 4.

He’s longer than Miles Bridges and just 2lbs lighter than he was coming out
