I might be in the minority but i don't want us to resign Shroeder unless its for the vets minimum. He's okay but not worth a big deal or anything.

I guess it boils down to what you consider a big deal.

The vets minimum is kind of light but the full MLE seems too high.

I think there are too many variables to consider at the moment. I just know we need Beasleys shooting & energy back at all costs.

Why not? Maybe 7-9 M per year.

I’m glad we got the Knicks, obviously we went 3-1 against them, but we should also get lots more tv and media attention playing the knicks, if we played Indiana or the bucks I just really see a lot of bad blood and a tough way to start are playoff run as the new upcoming franchise, it’s going to happen with our guys but the rivalry with Indy would be too ugly in year one of this, the knicks are the perfect target.

1. Ausar and Holland shoot 200 jumpers a day this summer.
2. Cut Paul Reed. Find his replacement through draft. Dan Wolf
3. See if Tobias, and Duran can pry JJJ from Memphis.
4. Resign Schroder
5. Sign Walker from Minny

Why would you hijack a thread about our first round playoff matchup with this post? This thread is explicitly not about next season.

There are plenty of other threads to go post crap about getting better next season if this year's team actually playing in the playoffs after a 30-game improvement isn't enough to hold your attention.

I don't have a problem with people who wanna talk offseason. I think many Pistons fans are conditioned to start thinking about the offseason while the real season is still going given how bad we've been. I personally don't have much appetite for such talk right now given we're about to be in a playoff series, and it even feels different than the last couple of times we snuck into the playoffs were we felt certain to be swept by a top seeded team. But I won't begrudge others for looking ahead.

This thread on the other hand is for the PLAYOFFS. Lets keep the talk there.

I believe, if our Pistons play to the best of our abilities and the coaching staff is dialed into every detail, we can win this series.

I will not be shocked, I think we we can do it

It really does come down to, for me, is how Cade performs. If he is his usual self+, Pistons could shock. He can't do it alone though. So many kids essentially, in the playoffs for the first time is rough.

Hopefully Harris doesn't **** the bed, and is as reliable as he has been this season. Same with Beasley, and Hardaway for that matter.

Either way, it's been a great season, and I couldn't be happier the Pistons lost their pick this year. Win a single playoff game, and this is one of the best Pistons season I've ever witnessed. The turnaround has been unbelievable.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think we're going to win. They don't match up well with us, and Cade is the best player on either team.

Lol nahhhh, we staying Canada strong baby.
But I guess until today at 10am it's just restricted to mostly Michigan residents. Thats good. We need all die hards in that arena to smoke the knicks. Don't want no NewYorkers or Raptors fans from Canada so I'm good with that. Hopefully I can get a seat at 10am.
I was pulling the trigger on 3 seats in lower bowl too. Expensive but whatever. Now I'll be likely sitting up near the roof lmao cause those will be gone

Why? 38% from the field, 30% from 3 are the biggest reasons.

Odds: Knicks -450 (81.8%), Pistons +340 (22.7%)
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
