This whole series has a "what if" quality to it. Had Stew and Ivey been available, Pistons might've take this series in 6. Still, like most folks I can't complain given the vast improvement over last year. What remains to be seen is whether Trajan is ready to do what needs to be done: over the summer acquire an upgrade at the PF position, preferably a solid three point shooter and rebounder.
I think you ride or die with the guys who got you here. Hopefully Beasley snaps outa it, but I don't think going away from him is right.

Tech hasn't worked in this system all year. An elimination game isn't the time to revisit that.

Sasser is a little more tempting as another guy capable of being a bucket. Sometimes that feels bad because he also stagnates the offense, so while he's rolling the team overall feels marginal at best. Still, I can see *some* benefit if we are struggling to score. But if that's the position we find ourselves in then we're probably already in big trouble.

Tobias hasn't been the problem. He's not a long term solution, but for now he's fine. Center is what we should be concerned with. How do we either help Duren upgrade or upgrade Duren? I know he's young, but it's bad matchups all over the place for him.

re: PF upgrade. as others have suggested. N. Reid would make sense provided he's open to the idea and is affordable

I think we can win tonight, then we need a home win, playing a competitive game 7 in NY would be a huge learning experience those young guys need, one game at a time approach. Then we can talk about the future.

Over/under on the times Brunson leaves for the locker room during a game 1.5?
Even if Beasley isn’t hitting, I don’t think we bench him. He’s done too much and I don’t think it would leave a great taste in his mouth going into the off season.

Ya'll are really sleeping on Tobias ability to be a #1 option when needed. The dude can go down on the block and get you a bucket most nights. No offense to Naz, but he's not the upgrade you think he is. He's better at some things, but worse at others and not somebody who significantly moves the needle for us.

Keep doing what we’ve been doing, maybe someone else over holland, but series should be 2-2, we had big let down 1, won game 2, maybe Brunson over back in game 3, but we fought, game 4 well we handled them for most the 2nd half, and didn’t get a whistle and lost, so I’d keep doing what they’ve been, and hope Beasley is hitting everything tonight along with thj and Tobias, maybe get another gear from Cade and duren

We can win tonight. We can win any one of these games.

It's winning all three that I think is essentially impossible.

It's so weird. Must be more serious than just inflammation. Maybe he messed it up and needs surgery

Ok, not missing is cool, but only taking 9 shots in the 4th quarter of 4 playoff games is not really a significant offensive factor.

I'll be happy with a win tonight and 1 more game in Detroit. Anything more would be gravy. I'm curious to see this team play with nothing to lose, backs against the wall.

It feels *super* important to keep the crowd out of it. 1st time in the post-season is tough enough - doing it on *the* biggest stage @MSG in an elimination game... don't want the wheels to completely fall off.

I think after it's all said and done, I would have liked to have seen how Marcus sasser could have been used in this series and how he might have guarded Brunson.

I'm going to say this as respectfully as I can.... **** Brunson and his flopping.
