It's is always a treat listening to Isaiah Lord Thomas talk basketball. It was refreshing to hear him talk about all the mentors who molded him into winning while being a young player in the NBA. As he mentioned who are the mentors for Cunningham? He's really learning by himself. This is why it's so important for Cunningham to have that relationship with Piston winners of the past. Have discussions with Isaiah, Joe D, Wallace, Mahorn, Laimbeer, Rip etc. The knowledge they can provide will give him an advantage both mentally and physically.

Cade really does get up in the air a little more and a little easier than in the past, doesn’t he?

Not like dunking was ever hard for him, but it just seems effortless now unless there’s contact.

Lolz, George. “the Pistons have spurted and are leading now by 13.”

Careful old fella.

I would give up a TON for Avdija. He’s precisely what we need. Secondary ball handler, scorer, defender and criminally underpaid (and under contract for another two years after this one).

Holland or Ausar + Ivey + ALL the picks. They don’t really have a need for another guard, I guess, but something equivalent in value is fine. Might even do Holland AND Ausar + ALL the picks. Dude is a beast.

They're aren't getting better and learning from their mistakes. JB will take this team only so far. He isn't a championship caliber coach imo. He's a culture changer but that's it

If she was the most qualified it would be different. She's a DEi hire imo

Win or lose, this is an ugly game.

Something seems off lately.

It seems everyone has figured us out. Just play zone/pack the paint, and force Ausar or Ron to shoot

I wonder if Cade is sick or something. The level of energy and effort from him is just so different versus a few games back.

Jerami Grant has had a whole bunch of just beyond stupid drives this game. Puts his head down and just runs into people. Problem is, he’s still a pretty slim guy, so he ends up on his ass.

Dammit Ron. Two wide open looks. No fear in him at least, but ugh.

You'd think they would put Robert Williams on Stewart because they both have great size, but nope... very smart they have Robert Williams on Ron Holland and Williams has been leaving him wide open in the corner over and over again so he can play great help side defense. Ron finally made him pay on one, but its making it much harder to score in the paint than normal because Williams is constantly cheating inside away from Holland.

He got really good at that in Detroit... driving inside getting lots of contact and being strong enough to get the shot up despite that. He was pretty high in FTAs for a while.
