He's a good player but very overrated. He's not an elite player and is a #2 on a true title contending team. He needs to become a 2 guard because he isn't a point guard or a player that should have the ball in his hands in the big moments.

We are paying this guy #1 money. He has to be the guy. He has no post game. Brunson has a better post game. I'm upset he deferred. I rather lose with him taking the shot. He was scared

Which teams in the league are "true title contending teams" in your opinion? (currently, without Cade)

He just finished his first 6 career playoff games at 25/8/8. Yes, he has to get better but it was the lack of a secondary scorer that killed us. We got screwed out of one game and still took this series 6 games despite NY having 5 of the best 6 players in this series.

I feel okay to be honest.

This felt more like a “we’re not ready yet” than a “we aren’t good enough”.

And I can accept that. My heart sank when that Brunson 3 went in too but I’m rebounding alright.

F that we're not ready yet nonsense. We're not required to wait for a turn. The difference in this series was 8 freaking points. We ARE ready, just MAKE THE PLAY FFS.

Well, you have your answer as to why the Pistons haven't done jack since 2008. Franchise hasn't been the same since Bill Davidson passed away. It's like it's a completely different team just playing in Detroit

I hated the sub too, but JB didn't lose the game. We still led when Ausar came back in. Ausar was on Brunson when he hit the 3. Their best player rose to the challenge, while our best player was invisible.

Brunson had some incredible plays down the stretch. He annoys me as a player with some of his foul baiting (that Hardaway foul reversal felt good), but you can't deny that he is the reason NYK are a good team. Not many guards in the NBA can be an offense on their own to the same level as Brunson.

Please type this in all caps and bold print. Coach blaming irritates me when the coach didn't miss multiple potential daggers with a late lead. He got his best defender a quick blow and also avoided a potential Hack a Shaq on Ausar.
