Re: Free Agency
Status: $10.2 million below the $140.6 million salary cap
Potentially available: Isaiah Stewart II, Tobias Harris, Tim Hardaway Jr., Jaden Ivey
Some around the league speculate that the Pistons aren't sold on Ivey, but there's no compelling reason (yet) to think he's moved. Instead, Detroit may be looking to move veterans to add young players and draft considerations. Several teams would be interested in Stewart, who has a friendly $60 million contract over the next four seasons (player option).
The Pistons might want some of the young players on the Indiana Pacers, notably Jarace Walker and/or Bennedict Mathurin. The Pacers may be more likely to part with Walker if forced to choose in a deal that helped improve their playoff chances

Source? If we have to give up on Ivey, would love Ben Math/Jarace here.
Toppin or Isaiah Jackson would be decent as well.
Beef Stew+Ivey for Mathurin/Jarace/Jackson works in the trade machine --- just saying.

Ya nothing credible. Just on a Twitter link that I copy and pasted.
I'm willing to give Ivey the year. Really praying he steps it up a notch we could really use him Ausar Cade and Duren to get it going

I’m hoping ingrams value drops to Stewart, Hardaway, Sasser, and 3 2nd round picks

Honestly I think that's about what his value is now.
The Pel's asking price, on the other hand...

That's a backup center, a sub-postseason-quality rotation player, a guard who may well amount to nothing more than an undersized shooting specialist, and a few outside shots at a decent rotation player. Would that replace his value in the now to a team that wants to contend in the now?
The answer is no -- far, far from it. The Pelicans are under no onus or pressure to move him. And any number of teams would gladly beat that bid.
Even that package would arguably make him a poor get for the Pistons, as the org would be forced to massively overpay an injury-prone player on a long-term deal next season or watch him simply walk. Or he might simply walk anyway. It's unlikely that any Ingram trade would end well for the Pistons.

Re: Free Agency
Two possibilities for Ingram at this point:
1) Ingram signs a deal below the max or for a low number of years with the Pelicans before he hits free agency
2) He hits free agency next offseason
I don't think anyone, us included, trades for him. He just doesn't have much trade value for the Pistons, who WOULD need to max him to keep him. And IMO he's not really positive trade value at that salary number.

The Pistons could easily have beaten that by a significant margin in July, and for virtually no risk given that the moratorium was already over. They evidently were not interested, and nor should they have been -- not with the steps they'd taken to improve spacing, and certainly not with having drafted Holland and with Ausar already on the roster.

I wanted Okoro too. Still got a shot at Fultz. Our team needs more veterans and depth to win games. I think Trajan is waiting for waivers or likely looking to absorb a contract.

Re: Free Agency
It seems since we have only 14 guaranteed contracts, we were able to get a few guys to sign camp deals to see if one of them (or perhaps two if Moore Jr suck) camp make the roster. Don't really know much about any of them or if we even have more two-way spots open.
