That would be the dream come true and I hope like hell that deal is out there.

Kelly O is not a positive asset.

Would the Pistons trade something to get 4 for that big?
Jerami Grant + Diallo + 5 -------- for Harrison Barnes and 4.
Is Paolo that big of an upgrade from Keegan/Sharpe/Dyson to dump Grant in the process?

If banchero is there I'd think it take more to get him. Id definitely want him tho.edmunder_prc wrote:My bet is that Ivey goes top 3 somewhere leaving a big at 4 - probably Paolo.

If the feeling is you have to move Grant to make room for Paolo and there are no other deals for Grant out there, I don't see why not. Although I don't know why you'd have to throw Diallo in; Grant + #5 to move up one spot should be enough IMO assuming you're just taking garbage salary back to make the trade work. I know if I were on the other side of that trade, needed a forward like Grant and could get him by dropping one spot I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

Things could get really damn interesting come draft night.
Meh if I'm Sacramento I'd rather have any of the top 3 over all these so called assets we have (who?). I can understand them not being as interested in Ivey cause they have a guy so similar already in fox but banchero, smith, or Chet seem like good fits.zeebneeb wrote:I am really starting to get the feeling that Ivey is gonna break up the concensus top 3. definitely not seeing the upside that he's hyped as having.

If this were posted on the Kings board you would unanimously be told that Barnes isn't worse than Grant, but on the same tier of player. Barnes is much more efficient, for instance. In the end they are both solid 3/4 combos. So, I don't see the dump?
I could see a potential move up for Grant, but it would have to work around Holiday/Len/Harkless and whatever salary the Kings could potentially throw in if its feasible (I haven't seen the salary sheet).
But the scenario would be for Ivey, if the Kings don't like him, most likely. The Kings have options at SG, and he might not fit with Fox.
I don't see Ivey jumping.
The issue is none of Orlando/OKC/Houston have any need for a SG offensively or defensively (with Suggs/SGA/Green). And Ivey is a SG in that he isnt a lead playmaker and you wouldnt want him guarding PG.
