Need some advice here guys.
Planning a vegas trip leaving April 19th. Looking forward to watching game 1 there.
1st-any tips on where to watch?
2nd-and most importantly. What time would you think the game would be? Trying to figure out flights but don't want to leave too late and miss the game!

Also, I'd assume game2 would be 21st? And game3 23rd?

I have no preference as to which team they might play in the playoffs. Getting there and avoiding sh*tting the bed or getting anyone hurt will suffice for me. Of course, I'd like to see them do as well as possible.
Beginning the season I thought 30 wins would represent huge progress. I'm not going to let their unexpected success and heightened expectations spoil my current delight at the Pistons being a team on the rise.

Circa in downtown Vegas has an incredible sports book and also has crazy outdoor screens by the pool.

It’s going to be more or less a 7pm est start so it will be 4pm Vegas time.

If you want to stay on the strip Flanker Kitchen and sports bar has some good views. If you’re looking for something more specific, please let me know and I’ll try to point you in the right direction.

I am unsure of what to expect from the Pistons to close the season, and in the playoffs, but all the stats, since January 1st don't tell me this team is good, it tells me they are elite.

I dont know how to reconcile the two. The team was just thrust into greatness. There are a ton of team stats indicating this, but ill just leave this one here;

The Pistons since Jan 1st(41 games. Half a damn season)are 27-14. They would be 54-28 to end the season at that pace, had Ausar been healthy, and they hit the ground running.

This team is also 21-16 on the road(!) For a young team, just blossoming, that is insanely impressive.

The Pistons could go or 6-3, or even 7-2 and it wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary for them.

I still don't expect that though.

Can the Wizards put up a fight against the Pacers tonight who are on a traveling back2back?

Can the Spurs help tire out the Cavs for us tonight so they get into Detroit late and tired?

Ohhh the things I think about lol

Well, the Pacers put up 162 in regulation, so much for that

I'm rolling with the mantra of expecting nothing more than what this team has accomplished so far and have hope for more.

In my eyes any playoff wins are the gravy. Even 6 weeks ago I was just hoping we would avoid the play-in and might steal a few wins in the first round. Now there is even some very slight hope that we could make our way to the second round if things fall our way.

Low expectations and high hopes.

Well, we stepped up and beat a good team- that's terrific.

5th is possible in theory if we beat the Bucks twice. I still think 4 is unrealistic. The Pacers hold the tiebreaker so we'd need them to lose 3 more games than we will to close out the season- like us going 6-3 AND them going 3-6. And that's without any opportunities to beat them ourselves.

So if we finish 5th we draw the Pacers most likely.
I think the team will be ready and I like our odds.

The odds of the Pacers falling to 6th should be viewed as negligible at this point. They have so many easy wins remaining on their schedule and the Bucks just lost Lillard.

I want Tim Hardaway Sr. courtside for Pacers games. Someone give Halliburton a good hard foul in THSr's direction... yeah...

""It’s just grit — it’s a willingness to do whatever it takes to win a game and win it together," coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. "I love how balanced it was; I love how everybody contributed, everybody played their part, and everybody was involved in the fight."

Pistons - Pacers first round matchup will feed families. Beef Stew has to keep his cool. I’m happy for him most. He’s been through hell with us. Made it all the way to here.

A Pistons/Pacers series is going to be a bloodbath. Period. I am just hoping, because I firmly believe the Pistons need it, they somehow get that 4th seed, and have homecourt.

My expectations have now gotten way out of hand. Not my fault though, I blame this squad.
