If it wasn't for those surprising Nets and Suns wins, the Pistons would be totally hooped. At least there's a bit of room for error with the 2.5 game spread before this, and the likely Gordon, trades were made.

Who knows? Maybe Carter and Porter will play with a chip on their shoulder and give them some extra energy in the early games.

The Magic were a huge threat to our tank with Vuc- it’s possible they’ll actually still be similar.

Yes, Orlando got a good return for Vuc. I hope they unleash Bamba now

They traded Fournier too.

I never thought he was a needle mover but they’re showing a clear direction. Gotta give them that.

Magic traded Fournier to Boston just now for 2 2nd round picks I believe.
Next will be Aaron Gordon, they are going to be running a g league team the rest of the year

Yeah, looking at their roster I take back what I said.

That group will easily pass us.

Gotta hope we can get below Houston or Minny. Orlando is looking like the new sheriff in tank town. OKC worries me too.

The package ORL is getting for Vuc is similar to what we should expect to get for Grant, if we made him available.

Still question why the Magic would trade Vuc, but whatevs

Fournier getting 2 Boston seconds seems to work against those who thought we’d get a first for Delon too.

Orlando now screwing the Pistons in mulitple ways.

If Fournier only goes for two 2nds, you can forget about Ellington returning anything. Not that a late 2nd is much of anything, but would still like to unload Ellington for something.
Orlando couldn't get a late 1st for Fournier? Really?

The Pistons aren't catching OKC even with SGA out for a while.
Forget about Houston, that ship sailed already despite them being tied. This was the easy portion of their schedule and they won once, they probably finish below Minny actually.
It's 3rd or 4th for the Pistons, most likely 4th now.

For some reason I thought OKC had 16 wins, not 19. Yeah, forget them.

Washington and Cleveland are both more likely.

That worst timeline where we end up 7th or so is still clearly visible.

They just blocked him with WCJ coming back.

WCJ is no Vooch, there's still hope for Bamba, and now they're rebuilding so there's no reason to play Khem Birch over Bamba anymore.

While WCJ is no Vooch it's still a young center on a rookie contract they will be looking to play. Bamba might just suck man

Highly unlikely that they catch Washington or Cleveland either unless Washington trades Beal shockingly (who knows with the NBA) or the Pistons somehow sweep them.

Also, 6th or so is worst case scenario. There's not much separating 6-10 in this draft so anywhere outside the top 5 is a steep drop. I'd feel like they won the lottery if they merely stay in the top 5.

They strictly unload his 17,5M as they don't receive any player back. That's why they weren't manage to receive a FRP I suppose.

Yeah you gotta consider that Ellington has no salary barrier.

We could still get a second.

I swear if the Pistons win some nonsense games these last couple of months and end up pick at #7 again I am going to lose my mind.

Probably best to make the most out of the time you and your mind have left together.

Just to be safe.
