I'm really deflated. Why would a team in this type of rebuild waste ANY flexibility on a player of this caliber???????

Actually really cheap and he’s definitely a starting caliber center, extremely athletic, good screen and roll man. Getting a starting center locked in for 3 years on the cheap is excellent value. And if Stewart develops Plumlee won’t complain about coming off the bench.

Yikes...so much for a restoring...this signing has no upside like others have mentioned. We should be signing young talent on the rise not journeymen on the downside of their careers to 3 YEAR DEALS.

I am very disappointed with Weaver so far. And thank god he didn't trade up in the draft to pick Williams.

Better find out that third year is non guaranteed or team option.

It’s not AWFUL if that’s the case- even rebuilding teams need high character vets around. The Sixers rebuild stalled for a while, and that was a small part of it.

Still, not pretending not to be deflated here.

There must be something going on with that trade right ? It’s the only trade of ours that hasn’t been announced officially yet.
