I know it's hard to get minutes on this team but guys like Green and Reed need more run IMO.

I’m perfectly OK with Daniss not playing in this one, plenty of ball movement and an acceptable number of turnovers.

Reward good minutes with more minutes, and keep it to ten guys. Easier with Tobias out.

Wait… is that Sasser’s theme music…. oh my!

I love guys turning down 3's, and dunking instead.

I made a comment in relation to Stews comment at half time and mortsahlfan thought I was insulting him then he decided to threaten to expose himself to my wife. Then I took a few very deep breaths and didn't dm him my address to discuss him exposing himself to my wife.

More of these 32 minute games for Cade would be very helpful.

Well, it’s long break time. Nothing until Friday. 19-5. Pretty good stuff, folks.

If he was 6'10 he'd legit be the perfect PF for us.

Hi guys

Congrats on another win, i am a big Ron Holland stan, what does he need to do to take his game to the next level/earn more minutes, or is it simply case of waiting/biding his time/too many better options right now in the rotation (your depth is very impressive)

Nice team win before the five day break. Absolutely destroyed them on the glass. Big game for Stew. Ivey got the nod over Jenkins/Sasser and looked good.

Ausar with a sneaky 8 assist game. I know everyone loves to talk about his ceiling and how he's a potential star if he finds a jump shot. Obviously, that would be great, but I see a guy with a high floor who could be an important role piece for many years, even if he doesn't improve his range. He kind of reminds me of Tayshaun a bit - adds good defense and the occasional offense, kind of the unsung hero on a team with much bigger names recognized nationally (Yes I know Tayshaun had a much better jumper than Ausar, but he was pretty low volume compared to his teammates). If Ausar never becomes an all-star, it doesn't mean he can't have a productive career.

Celtics and Hawks coming up, and then the schedule gets easier for a bit - Mavs, Hornets, Trail Blazers, Kings, Jazz, Clippers. With Portland having the best record at 9-14.

Confidence, (offensive) consistency, better long range shot (has already improved over last year), and I'd just say better basketball IQ in general. He looked extremely overwhelmed in the playoffs last year and we were forced to limit his minutes. Consistency honestly is probably the biggest thing. There are games were he looks like an all-star, and games where you hope he doesn't take another shot. I mean look no further than his last two games. Yesterday, he had 17 points, which was his second best point total of the season, and had a career high three 3-pointers. Tonight he went 0 for 8 from the field, lol.

Yeah the Piston's bench in general is a fight for minutes. But coaching and management love Ron. If he plays well, he will earn minutes. We're already seeing it - His last five games he's averaging about 19 minutes a game (43 points in that five game span). The previous five he was barely scoring and only getting like 12 minutes a game (12 points in that five game span).

But Ron is a dawg. He hustles his ass off. He has a long way to go but it's obvious his ceiling is insanely high. There's no doubting his effort and defensive ability, and there's definitely been flashes of his offensive potential. He's only 20 years old. A lot of us are very excited for what he might become, but understand that right now he's just not ready to be a starter for this team. I will say that there are some impatient fans on these parts that want to use him in a trade package. Not because they don't like Ron, but because they understand his value and would rather acquire a proven vet to make a push for a championship. I think that is extremely short-sited, and I think management would agree with that too.

One day Stew will learn its best to make opponents upset, not to get upset at opponents. There's a fine line there but its all about being able to be the smarter more composed individual.

There is nothing that makes me believe this will ever happen.

Each time he does something stupid to hurt his team like getting thrown out he immediately follows it up by more dumb flexing or yelling at fans as he is leaving the arena. That is someone who doesn't see any problem with his behavior or the consequences to his team. And that is further supported by the chain of events repeating time and time again.
