Barnes did play for Van Gundy in Orlando so there is some history there. Who knows if it's good or bad though.

I also want Barnes. With Charlotte likely to release him, I wonder if SVG will try to make a move for him. He'd be a solid SF for us if we could get him. He and one of Hezonja, Winslow and Johnson should be a solid combo for the SF position.

Barnes brings a attitude and toughness that i like. Unfortunately idk if SVG see's that as a negative character trait. Depends on how he is in the lockeroom

Pretty sure Stan values attitude and toughness.

It's knuckleheads he doesn't tolerate

I was hoping he would watch Curry and Thompson and remember how to shoot three pointers again.

Dinwiddie just needs to improve his shooting. I really think he can and will. I am excited for his outlook.

Dinwiddie is one consistent 3 ball away from being a fringe-starter material IMO. He has all the physical tools as well as the cerebral part of the game to be a starter. If he continues to grow his part of the game, I can see him leaving us eventually as he develops better.

Who was the player sometimes linked/rumored here who hated a coach from a previous stop - was it somebody with Cheeks or was it Barnes with Stan Van. I'm remembering somethign vaguely about a player HATING our coach because he almost ruined him when he was a youngster.

Might have been Reddick with Stan too. It was somebody that Stan didn't play that was talked about.

I don't think it was Redick. I've seen a video of him (I believe with the Clippers, but maybe Milwaukee) praising SVG for turning him into a better player because of how tough he was on him. Matt Barnes definitely didn't like Mo Cheeks though.

Your new champs, Golden State Warriors.

Lebron's tired and so are the Cavs. Give Curry his jewlry now, for leading his team.

I was right on the money, they won it in 6.Was not suprised the cavs fans stayed around to boo, which I thought was pretty classless.Would of been awesome if lebron came out and told them to show some respect.

^I definitely feel vindicated that GSW won all the way, fighting through adversity along the way. No doubt.

Somewhere out there, Mike D'Antoni is smiling himself to sleep, knowing that his original offense of PnRs, cuts, and 3s helped teams get to the finals and then some.

General Board is hilarious right now.

If forums like this existed in the 60s, 70s, 80s, there'd be just as much stupidity. Once again, sports fans prove that they are some of the stupidest people in the world.
