As it goes, we'll be back to select between 7 and 12...

The good news is that Moses Moody & Jaden Springer are better than anyone in last years draft not named Lamelo Ball.

Ziare William and Franz Wagner are both way better iq wise than Anthony Edwards and James Wiseman.

One thing I won't doubt Troy on anymore is drafting well. This is a good year to draft anywhere
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

Even after the Hayes pick? Just playing devils advocate. I’m excited for Bey and Stewart. Just wish we coulda gone 3/3. We need to nail this next pick.

Yeah just considering that Pat William's, Lamelo was the goal... Killian was Best available.

Personally I like Vassell but Josh Jackson is redundant.

Tyrese Halliburton probably would have been a better pick but Killian looked like he had more shot creation ability.

I want one of these 4 guys in order:

1. Cade
2. Mobley
3. Green
4. Kuminga

We’re a playoff team next year with one of those guys and solid vet signings. We’re contending in 3 years with that

Hes projected to go in that 6-10 range. I'm out on him. Cant even finish the season just seems like such a red flag.

IMO, it’s a business decision. Duke isn’t good enough to make a run. Heck, they might not even get into March Madness this season.

Why risk injury when you know you’re a top-10 player in the draft?

It’s basically the same reason guys don’t play in Bowl games in football.

Cades 2pt % is surprisingly weak. But his 3pt% is elite. Kind of the opposite of Luka, whose 3pt% is way weaker than his reputation, but he scores at will in the paint.

The good thing about Cade is his elite defense will more than make up for it... and as he gets stronger and plays with NBA spacing and NBA passing options the 2pt percentage and finishing will go up.

Tjarks is a great basketball mind and he sees the game very well. Both him and Jonathan Givony from draftexpress had doubts on Killian which is partially why I wasn't super high on Killian

That was why I wanted Okoro.

That plus him being able to defend 1 through 4 had me thinking he's a nice base role player to start the rebuild.

Then again I didn't expect Weaver to drop a nuke

Defenses really lock in on him at the college level. His team is really bad outside of him. Should be fine once he gets to the next level with more space and better players around him.

I thought it was awesome, not used to seeing 7 footers shoot like that while also having the ability to score inside and defend the rim.
