but jennings+smith is not a bad package at all, and i think the celtics go to tank and the is one possibility of 1000 that they accept.

i like smith, but he don't suit on our team, and i don't like jennings cuz i see him like a ricky rubio able to shoot with good mechanic, but horrible percentages too and horrible when he go to the rim, and a black hole in defense (rubio is better defender in one on one, but so much horrible in defensive helps or passing screens)

I have no idea what this says

English may not be his first language. Who knows?

I doubt Boston moves Rondo and pieces for Jennings and Smith.

I figured that, I was hoping somebody could translate it for me. No way does Boston move Rondo for those two, they wouldn't take those guys for free so there's no chance in hell they trade an all-star for them.

Just read the article about Gerald Wallace itching to play and being frustrated with sitting on the bench.

He could be just the thing that nets us Jeff Green without losing Monroe

Josh Smith, Bynum, Jerebko, Datome
for
Jeff Green, Gerald Wallace, Brandon Bass, Pressey

Celtics pay 3M more to have Smith than Gerald Wallace. They lose Green but also save 18M two years down the road from dumping both Wallace and Green together. Even next year they still save 3M.

We resign Monroe, go after a veteran PG to backup Jennings (hopefully Billups takes a hint, retires, and joins the front office), and run the following lineup next season:

Jennings / Veteran PG
KCP / Singler
Green / Wallace
Monroe / Bass
Drummond / Harrelson

We need shooters and space for smith and Drummond. Athletic freaks. Trade Monroe for a shooter bc Kcp can't shoot

KCP can shoot. He's just a rookie- doing rookie things, like poor shot selection, hesitating to shoot, adjusting to the speed of the game.

Too soon the give up on the kid. Just look at McLemore- kid has a picture perfect shooting form and is struggling mightily as well this season. Bradly Beal was awful for the majority of his rookie season as well.

Sidenote- Detroit has kind of become the Sacramento Kings of the east, haven't they?

We'd basically be giving up on free agents though by taking on all of that future salary. Greg Monroe would be a sure goner, even including the fact that we have a $10 million dollar cap hold for him. I don't know if we get good enough to justify taking on all of that. Plus, I have a terrible feeling that Green would be coming off the bench, and Wallace would still be upset about his role since I don't think he'll knock Singler out of the rotation.

I believe you could go over the cap and keep Monroe.

Green has a player option he's unlikely to exercise after next season so him and Bass come off the books and Wallace would be a $10mill expiring.

Would you guys do this

Smith,Jennings and Stuckey

For

D-Will and Pierce

Williams contract is bad but if he can get healthy it would balance out our starting 5 better. Pierce is a expiring and this would at least stop the growth stunt of Monroe and Drummond.

I want something like this, allows us to tank this season and come back much better next season. Much like the warriors of a few seasons ago when they traded Monta for Bogut

LOL! Never done it before I guess.

Ideally Smoove/Jennings/Bynum/Jerebko just retire, but...

Return to Detroit Pistons
