I think Rose doesn't finish the season in Detroit, but I'm not sure they need to pull the trigger anytime soon. He's going to be in demand by teams looking to make a run and needing PG depth up until the deadline, just a matter of getting the right value -- and that maybe after the draft and free agency shake out.

I hope this isn't Weaver being a virgin in a whore house. Someone did tell him this draft sucks, right?

Rose for a 2nd rounder has to be available and there's no point half assing it to the top of the draft next year.

If Rose can get a decent 2nd rounder without taking back bad salary, Detroit needs do it. Detroit needs bodies to fill out the roster and there is always the possibility Rose gets hurt rendering himself completely untradeable.

Quickley goes in the 1st to OKC. Lol, of course. I’m sure he would have been a Weaver target in the 2nd.

Re: 2020 NBA Draft Night Thread
The Knicks essentially traded for 27 and 38 for 25 and 33. That's amazing.
Then they reached for Quickley. That's not so amazing.

Yep and now we have a excellent shot at adding a potential superstar next year to a young hopefully already productive roster.

Quickley is going to be a good ball player.

he's not chubby. he's muscle. and a great touch inside. decent ft percentage which tells me it's possible with some worth his 3pt should be able to rise. He's going to be a beast down low.

I'd still like to get terry. although I doubt we would. he could guard pg's and hayes could guard sg's.

Lol, I’m not sure who could look at Stewart and call him chubby with a straight face

Yeah I would like to grab a backup point like Tre Jones or Terry or even a SG like Desmond Bane.

If Cassius Stanley is available in the 2nd, he’d be a prime target for Detroit.
