SVG is the man. What ball$.

You gotta tear this thing down to it's core, and build it back up. SVG is spot on.

Jennings needs to be next...but perhaps he can be traded after the season since he'll only have one year left...

I don't believe this is any indication Monroe gets a max offer or anything like that. He's not worth it, and SVG knows it. If Monroe is gone, fine. Bye bye.

TEAR IT ALL DOWN, AND BUILD IT BACK UP.

The only keepers are Drummond and KCP anyhow...Dimwiddie can kept too. The rest? SEE YA!!!!

Lol no. It shows that Gores has learned from his mistakes.

That's my takeaway, losing the 9th pick in the draft to save $10 mil is a pretty harsh slap in the face.

Reportedly, Kings and Mavs are two teams with interest in signing SMith once he clears waivers

We should be thanking Gores for this

Now where will he end up?

Cleveland - sign him and then trade Thompson/Waiters for an impact C

Dallas - lost Wright, best friends with Rondo, Cuban goes for the chip

Houston - friends with Dwight, doubt they take him on tho

San Antonio - Duncan is playing big minutes, Pop can get thru to him

Thank you jeebus! !! Good move going forward especially with the cap going up. It had to happen as he has no value league wide as far as a trade goes. Sure maybe we could have made the trade this summer, but I don't buy sacto taking him on without a pick so...

Don't know how this hurts the tank, I mean Jerebko is now looking at 25 minutes a game and Joel Anthony will be getting regular minutes as well. And if Dre continues his foul issues or either Dre or Moose get hurt than we're looking at worst in the league territory.

Haha, this is true. Just a shocking move. Gotta give Stan credit. He's getting through to Mr "WE'VE GOT GREAT PLAYERS" Gores.

No Mr. Gores, you have crap. Thankfully you are listening to the man in charge.

All hail SVG!!!!

This is a good thing. I could care less about money on the cap. We're not going to be contenders in the next 2 years so that money in the first couple of years before the cap goes up won't hurt us one bit.

Next thing is to get Jennings off the team and see what Monroe, Drummond, Dinwiddie and KCP can do. If we suck, we suck but at least let it be because we have young growing kids instead of idiots playing big minutes.

Cap is going to rise. The 5M will probably be worth BAE in a couple years. Piston get cap relief right now and might resign Monroe.

I know Jerebko is in line to get more PT, but I wonder if Datome or Mitchell gets a crack at the PF spot.

People came in here and laughed at us how we would have to attach a first round pick to get rid of Josh Smith...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA SVG. #Boss. FOH.

Should also thank to Gores. I don't think there are a lot of owners who's okay with rip 26 million contract for better of team.

I don't think gores is as cheap as everyone hear likes to think.
He's spent a lot of money on the franchise and knows he'll make money if he spends money.
I think the biggest mistake Gore made was giving Dumars too much free reign and he got burned with the BG deal.
