We should honestly do Blake a favor and trade him. Don't deserve him one bit.

We should trade him. As good has hes been hes not good enough to lead this team to the 8 seed in East. Were never going to win a playoff series over his contract. We need to draft an entire new team.

Don't know if anyone in the league is good enough to lead this team to the 8th spot honestly.

Lebron/Harden/Durant/Curry/Giannis could for sure.

Idk man, have you seen the rest of this team??

Agreed though. Although I have absolutely no negative thoughts towards Blake, just isn't the best fit at this point and his surrounding cast does nothing to help him.

Not sure how Blake and CP3 feel about eachother, but the Rockets were reportedly willing to offer 4 firsts for Butler. I could see them going all in to win a championship and trading for Blake.

Anyone who is willing to trade for Blake would have to feel like he could be their missing piece to a championship and also likely willing to pay the tax for a chance at a championship.

Blake + Bullock for Brandon Knight + Eric Gordon + 4 future first round picks.

Philly, LAL, Toronto, Indiana, Denver, OKC.... I could see all of these teams as possible landings spots if you could make it work salary wise.

What a way to lose. For much of the game, we certainly played well enough to win, except for that beffudling few minutes at the 4th with the 'lineup of death' that gave up the lead and all those turnovers. Disappointing that nobody could stay in front of Mitchell down the home stretch. :nonono:

Blake might just be happy at the thought of getting shipped out again, at this point. :sigh:

22 and 9 power forwards with inside and outside capability fit anywhere. This team's poor performance in games has nothing to do with Blake much more often than not.

I was at the game. That was just trash play. I'm all in the sellers. I want Zion or Barrett. Sell everyone for expirings and picks. We're sitting at the 8th spot right now in the lottery. PLEASE TANK!!! Trade Smith and Drummond as soon as possible!!

These Pistons perimeter players are god awful.
Kennard played good D, and missed a couple of shots...please stop the moment to moment decision making. My complaint is Casey's mass substitution system.

Someone isn't watching. The last few games he played good D. By the way, you put a team player on the floor with Leur, Johnson, and Gallowy, & you will never get the ball back or get a screen. With those guys you can run yourself ragged all over the floor, your not getting a pass back.

So he cant play with Leuer/Stanley/Galloway because hes "a team player" and their all ball hogs. When he runs with the starters guys like Blake/Bullock/Drummond will eat up tons of usage hence why he was invisible nearly every game with the starters. So the problem is everyone else but Luke I guess.

Casey on Luke from the bench which is what I see watching the games as well:

“He’s going to make mistakes. My (message) to Luke is make hard mistakes,” Casey said. “I didn’t think he did that in those games he started. I didn’t think he was running hard, I didn’t think he was defending hard, I didn’t think he was being aggressive coming off pick and rolls, coming off soft passes.”

“It’s a big difference,” Casey said. “He’s got too much talent to not be aggressive, not run the floor hard, not cut hard. I’m not being critical at all. I’m trying to get the most out of him.”

Casey on Brown:

At the start of the game we have two big guys (Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin), so we’re probably not as fast as other teams at the start,” Casey said. “(Brown’s) speed, his quickness, his grind, his mental toughness kind of sets the tone for that first unit.”

“Mainly his speed, his speed running the floor, his speed of cutting,” Casey said. “And his shooting has improved. The young man is growing up in front of our eyes, and his attention to detail. He’s getting it done. The future is bright for him.”

People here are delusional. I bet some still blame SVG for SJ lmao.

There are some really bad posters here nowadays, most of the good posters went away and I don't blame any of them. Thank God for the foe buttom, else this boards would be unreadable, too bad foe buttom doesn't work with quotes tho.

Reggie is not our only problem. We have like 2 decent bench players, Zaza and Ish, and they're both injured. Our bench is a joke. Leuer/Galloway/Kennard/SJ/Calderon neither of them should be in the league. Look at the production they've been giving us. We lost this game in the 2nd quarter, when the 2nd unity came in.

But yeah, Reggie Jackson is laughable, he is a huge liability on defense, last season he was trying really had on defense and he was ok, this season he is not trying at all, and he does not fit with Blake and Casey on offense so he is a liability on both sides of the floor right now, we need him gone badly.

Pathetic. My wife caught the end of the game with me. She said who the hell was he throwing that pass to? Meaning Reggies pass to Bullock.
Then she said look at him he's just laughing like he doesn't even care. This was after the game ended and he was laughing and joking around. $17damn million dollars. What a joke. Blake must be getting sick of this clown. Can you imagine Isiah or Billups laughing after making such a boneheaded play?
Hope Casey sennd his ass to the bench. Start Brown Bullock and SJ or Galloway at the perimeter spots. At least they'll play defense. Brown and Galloway in the backcourt and Bullock at small forward so we have two shooters not afraid to pull the trigger

It would be nice if we could just give him away, but waiting his contract out is much better than giving up a pick to move him a year earlier. He's not a servicable starting pg at this point, but realistically, he's not the thing holding the team back. We've got a major talent gap with all the contending teams.

Prediction: once Ish returns, Pistons will go on a winning streak or have a winning record.
